Hi Brajesh,
Thanks for your reply
Unfortunately it returns the parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘return’ (T_RETURN) in /var/www/web/wp-content/plugins/bp-custom.php on line 5
I land up with the White Screen if Death.Yours is the only addition to bp-custom.php file
I’ve tried it with and without the terminating ?>Thank you
Regards
MichaelHi Brajesh,
Any chance of a responce please.
A direct answer to your question is the WordPress Menu.Thank you,
MikeAlanHi Brajesh,
Thank you for your reply.
The site, when finished, will be a School Alumni site catering for over 620 members.
I would like it to go in the top WordPress main Nav menu. The main items in the menu would include: Home, Alumni Gallery, Alumni Groups, Facebook Posts & Albums, Contact, Profile, Logout.If ‘Alumni Groups’ is chosen, you get the choice of ‘All Groups’ ‘My Groups’ and ‘Create a Group’.
I would appreciate Alumni Gallery to be the same. At present it just says: ‘All Galleries’. I would like to avoid logged in members having to go through their profile menu to create a new Gallery.The BuddyPress menu will appear in the left column after login and will contain the more personal profile menu as BP offers.
I’m sorry I’m not very good at explaining what I want!
I’m quite capeable of copying and pasting php code but not at programming.Thank you for your help again

Hi Tarek,
If it’s of any help, I can make give you temporary access to the site and send you the site address via the Sensible Plugins online contact form.

MichaelHi Tarek,
Thanks for your reply.
I have just tried it on a spare site with only BuddyPress installed and it would appear to work ok.
The subdomain site is the one in question. All the plugins were installed and working ok prior to installing BuddyPress Custom Profile Menu, on activation the whole site crashed.
If it would be of any help, I can activate the plugin and at the same time give you the URL but I’m not sure if that would helpI am running the latest versions of WordPress, 4.6 and BuddyPress 2.6.2
Thank you
MichaelHi,
Thanks for your reply.
That’s just what I had done last night. I should have replied to let you know that I had found the answer. Not sure why I missed it to start with.
Yes, it works perfectly now. Thanks for your help.Hi Denzil, Thank you for your reply and the generator link.
I’m ok setting the shadow size and color, the problem is getting it to work after inserting it into Appearance/Custom CSS. My rule for providing a shadow the whole way round is:
#wrapper {
-moz-box-shadow: 0 0 20px #000;
-webkit-box-shadow: 0 0 20px #000;
box-shadow: 0 0 20px #000;
}
Using MS Edge F12 Developers Tools, this displays my rule and the default one both of which are built up in ‘admin-ajax.php’.
If I untick the default rule ‘box-shadow none !important’ the shadow appear as I want it to.
This tells me that the default rule is overwriting the Custom CSS rule. Can I get round this?Your help in getting the box-shadow to appear would be appreciated. Thank you.

In reply to: [evolve] Gradient of menu barI have the same menu bar problem after updading, the smooth gradient transition is no longer there. The top color fades OK to a lighter color but the bottom color has no gradient.
Just wondering if the author might provide a solution if he reads thisHi Denzel,
Thanks for your reply.
Debug was set to true because I was trying to sort out this and another problem.
I shall forward this problem to the author and see what his responce is.I have now moved the site to my personal office server to work on it there as I am getting to many unwanted registrations. How they find out about a subdomain site I don’t know, especially as it has not been publicised in any way. I will also probably have to rebuild the database as I am getting weird and odd errors creeping in.
Thanks again
OK, I have partially solved my own query!
CKEditor for WordPress works fine in Browsers Firefox v28 and Chrome but not in Internet Explorer v11. I have cleared IE caches but to no avail.
The highlighted text does not respond to Font, Font color and Font size and also I believe paste.Any help in getting CKEditor to work properly in IE would be very much appreciated.
Thank you
Even on the CKEditor demo website, highlighting the text then trying to change its size, color and font does not work!
Am I doing it wrong?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Advanced Editor Tools] Missing 'New Layer' button in Tinymce AdvancedThank you Andrew for your reply. I shall look forward to the update.
In the meantime, Although I haven’t tried it yet, does Advanced TinyMCE include Add New Layer?
I am after page editing functions, offering something better than the basic WP TinyMCE version allowing signed in groups to edit their own pages.
Thank you.Problem solved.
Deleted ‘Text-transform: uppercase;’ at correct point in style.css.
