In reply to: [Smart Slider 3] Smart Slider 3 and Gutenberg plugin inconpatableHi @laszlo,
Thank you for your prompt response.
Yes, it does work. I’m not sure what I did first time round, probably loaded the old version!
Anyway thanks very much for your help.
Regards, Michael

In reply to: [MediaPress] Unable to create gallery!Hi Brajesh,
Apologies for the delay in replying.
I now have another problem, some of the Mediapress Shortcodes, [mpp-list-gallery] for example produces nothing, just a blank page, there should be 8 test galleries.
As far as testing the previous issue ‘Action not authorized’, I have deactivated all plugins apart from Mediapress and Buddypress and tried themes 2020 and 2021. The same problem persists.
To help reformat Buddypress, I have added extensive code in the child theme but as above deactivating this has no effect and only produces the same response.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Mediapress but all to no avail.
Could both of these issues be a result of Mediapress not verifying the nonce, if so how can this be rectified?
Thanks for your help

In reply to: [MediaPress] Unable to create gallery!Hi Brajesh,
Thanks for your reply,
Yes, the site uses Buddypress and the error happens when trying to create a gallery in ‘My galleries’.Should you require more information, please let me know.
Cheers

In reply to: Widget error after upgrading to 5.8Hi?@vladytimy,?
The result is just the same using themes 2017, 2020 and 2021 so I’m assuming that it’s not a theme issue.
I shall follow up your suggestion and leave comments on the respective forums. In the mean time I shall use the Classis Widget editor.
Thank you for your support.

In reply to: Widget error after upgrading to 5.8I have 38 active plugins helping to run a fairly large school alumni site under construction and I need to get this sorted asap.
Out of these 38 plugins there are 6 that give the following error each tested separately with all other plugins, css and added code deactivated:
Notice: wp_enqueue_script() was called incorrectly. “wp-editor” script should not be enqueued together with the new widgets editor (wp-edit-widgets or wp-customize-widgets). Please see Debugging in WordPress for more information. (This message was added in version 5.8.0.) in /home/********/********/build2/wp-includes/functions.php on line 5535
And they are:
1. Advanced Editor Tools (previously TinyMCE Advanced)
2. Advanced iFrame
3. Block Background
4. Shortcodes Ultimate
5. Smart Slider 3
6. Ultimate Addons for GutenbergMy question is: might this error be a bug in the above plugins, a bug in the latest WP upgrade or some other reason and how might I solve it?
Thanks in advance for any help

In reply to: Widget error after upgrading to 5.8Hi @vladytimy, Thanks for your advice.
My site is backed up on a regular basis so I could literally revert to the previous version if no solution is found and block updates.Kind regards
Further to my last message, it only does it when editing on a Galaxy tablet and only since updating to the Lite version 2.7.7.1
It works ok on a desktop PC.Galaxy tablet screenshot: https://weyisland.org.uk/images/screenshot.jpg

In reply to: [Custom Profile Menu for BuddyPress] Notification countersYou may have to navigate to https://elmfieldschoolalumni.uk/build2/members/guest/groups/
Another odd quirk: when clicking on ‘Quick Edit’ in the dashboard list of pages, instead of going to Quick Edit the page disappears until the listing is refreshed.
Something is very wrong!
Visiting: https://reactjs.org/ provides the full error as: ‘Element type is invalid: expected a string (for built-in components) or a class/function (for composite components) but got: undefined.’
Can anyone help interpret this error please?
Thank you
Also, the photo counter has gone to the bottom left. How can I get it back to the center
