    Hi Erik

That worked a treat once I had figured out which file to add the code to and needed to tell the Firewall scanner to “ignore” the chaged file contents … unless it changed again.

    Thanks

    Thanks Eric,

Excellent, Thnaks – I will try that.

I was very upset 2 years ago when I could see the complaints and there was no response or “I am aware of the problem – I’m working on it” message so it ‘looked like’ there was nothing happening and the oproblem was being ignored.

I agree it is a very good product (and I am not saying that just to gain favour), but it caused me a lot of hassle 2 years ago. It became stable with reCpatcha 3 and I fully recognise it is written and maintained by a single person who has created a very useful product. I wish I hadn’t been so critical then but it gave me major problems at the time.

    Regards

    Hi

Thank you for the reply. That old problem is resolved and CF7 now DOES work with reCaptcha 3 as it has been upgraded and now works OK. It’s just the input Font size size that is the problem.

    Hi Gerroald

Started from a known position. Synced WF Central Template with two notification emails separated by a comma with local site. WF Central Email Alert Preferences set for all options except new location. Similar for WF Local. All times below are BST (GMT +01:00)

Created a new user as an Editor on the local site. All test logins were made through this User details on a different PC and IP address. Got notification of New User from Local WP admin address.

Logged in at 08:28 – No notifications received but shown in WF Central “Events” as “Low”

Local – unticked Notify when WF auto-updated and Saved
Logged in at 08:32 – No notifications received but shown in WF Central “Events” as “Low”

Local – re-entered the two email addresses and Saved
Loggin in at 08:36 – No notifications received but shown in WF Central “Events” as “Low”

Local – Amended Notification to 1 email address and Saved
Logged in at 08:39 – No notifications received but shown in WF Central “Events” as “Low”

Local – Amended Notification to 1 email address and Saved
Logged in at 08:50 – No notifications received but shown in WF Central “Events” as “Low”

Local – Changed notification email address to that of the Administrator Account and Saved
Logged in at 08:56 – No notifications received but shown in WF Central “Events” as “Low”

WF Central – Amended notification email address to that of the Administrator Account and Saved and Synced
Logged in at 09:04 – No notifications received but shown in WF Central “Events” as “Low”

WF Central – Ticked The following Highest Severity options of Critical, High, Medium, Low ands left None unticked.
Logged in at 08:12 – No notifications received but shown in WF Central “Events” as “Low”

Logged in again at 09:53 – No notifications received but shown in WF Central “Events” as “Low”
Logged in again at 11:14 – No notifications received but shown in WF Central “Events” as “Low”
WF Central showed a mistaken log-in by self as “Medium” … but no notification.

Have also checked with my Hosting Company (through cPanel) and No emails relevant to WordPress or WordFence have been rejected or filtered.

Don’t know what to do next. I don’t undertsand how you are meant to use the “Highest Severity” Tickboxes in WF Central but I think they are related to WF Scan Results from the Monitored sites.

    Hi Gerroald

Thanks for that and have tried that – now awaiting/trying to engineer a notification from WP to see what happens.

Just to add clarity to the above message – it is the FREE version of Wordfence that I am using.

    Hi Yannick

Thanks for the bug fix – update installed and I can confirm it does work OK. Donation made as well. ??

The author of CF7 has been on the Forum answering oe query|:

Hi Yannick – in the words of Homer Simpson … D’oh!!

Yes, I was aware of the origin of the Robothumb words on the page but added it to my message here as I didn’t know if it was relevant or not. Better to add it and not be needed than to have not added it and youask “Did you see the Robothumb message …..”

    Many thanks.

Just cracked it – the upgrade somewhere had re-assigned all the category ID values to new values. ??

    I have a similar problem sadly –
    Wordpress 4.9.6
    MYSQL 5.6.39
    PHP 5.6.36

Link Library 6.0.25 (updated to the latest edition within 24 hours of it being released but sadly, didn’t check that it was all working OK so not sure when it failed.

I now seem to have two copies of every link added in the Library, one without the Assigned Category, one with, and the links Pages have the text from the page itself but no links at all and the message that:
“All of your links must be assigned at least to one category to be displayed” and there ios a bit about “Robothumb” generating the page images.
