I would prefer if the sliders or expanding items could be static on the site, and not follow scrolling action.

Strange, but ok. I did this two days ago, and i would expect it to be done by now.

This did the trick however:

SOLVED!

EDIT: Just to make it clear; this sets the background-color AND the opacity. So the actual content is still visible, but the background-opacity (the last 0) is set to a 100%. You can change the opacity by changing the last ‘0’ to ‘0.2’, ‘0.8’ and so forth.

Well, on my MacBook Pro, i can hardly see the white background.

But on my 2nd monitor (21 inch LCD), the white background on the events, looks bad on the texture that is the default background on the whole website.

I’m not sure if you cannot actually see that there’s a pattern behind the table-list backgrounds or not?

But there is ?? And on my secondary monitor, this looks bad.

And just to sum up the problem: The background on the page isn’t white. But the table cells or whatever the list is sorted in, has a white background.

Ok, so now i found out i had to active the sidebar-view in the Pages category by “quick editing” each page to show the sidebar.

But how do i get it to show on my “home” page. The “home” page is sorted by “recent posts” and is not showing in the pages setup…

The sidebar should be active, as it is set to “right” in the Theme-options. One of the footer widget-bars works fine however… No clue why this is the only one working.
