Before activating Premium version, make sure you’ve disabled/uninstalled Free version first. You can’t active Premium version if Free version is active. So, disable Free version first, then try to re-activate Premium version.

If you want to show all your project in the grid layout, you should create separate projects for each one.

Categorization is available in the Premium versions at this moment. Also there are number of other useful feature you’ll get advantage to use them if you upgrade now. Here you can find a demo where you can play with some important customization options and see how this look like.

The url you’ve mentioned in your screenshot wasn’t designed to point on media, but it’s an external url of your project. When user click on the link button within the popup, hi/she will be redirected to that url. You can setup a direct linking without popups, but this available in Pro versions. Also, we noticed you want to show video within the popup. The plugin doesn’t support inline videos at this moment. This feature will be supported in upcoming updates too. But as we’ve mentioned, with the Pro version you can configure direct linking to any url (e.g. Youtube, Vimeo …). So, if user click on the project, that specific page will be loaded containing your video.

Do you see only one column in the grid layout? By default it should be 4 instead of. Could you please provide the url where we can check the problem?

Could you please clarify this point, do you use Premium or Free version? As we’ve mentioned above, setting customization was included only in Premium version. This section is not available for Free version. And that’s not a bug or something you should report. Career Portfolio is a plugin based on Freemium business model.

FYI: Freemium business model aims the following: “Some features are available in Free version for free, whereas there could be Paid features too”. We don’t understand what’s the problem here? Do you want fully unlocked version for free?

What do you mean they want money? Why are you so angry? What we’ve advertised in Free version, we provide all of them to you. Free version provides the all functionality without settings customization. What’s included in Premium/Paid version is Settings section. If free version doesn’t cover the all functionality you need, this doesn’t mean it’s fake and you should report it.

Now let’s return and understand why it didn’t work for your case? Might be you’ve done something wrong? Did you see any errors there or what? If you could explain your case, definitely we’ll figure out something for you!
