eaglejohn, I suggest opening a new ticket for this.
Also, you may want to either look at the server logs or as your host to provide you with more details about that error since that error message comes from the web server.
Even if we added a fix for this, we recommend updating to PHP 5.6 or later since this is the minimum version supported not only by WooCommerce Multilingual but the rest of the required WPML plugins as well.
To fix it for this version, you only need to reinstall the current version – 3.9.1
Thank you for reporting this! You’re right: this has something to do with older versions of PHP that we don’t support. So we didn’t test for that. We’ve fixed this issue. Thanks again!
Hi Antonio
Thanks for your feedback. It’s not clear to me what exactly is not working for you. Have you tried contacting the WPML support (wpml.org) or the WooCommerce Multilingual support (here)?

In reply to: [WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency with WPML] another terrible releaseWe respect your choice Carodani.
Also, took notice of the issue that you reported. We don’t have data to replicate this unfortunately or to understand what the exact problem is. Will keep an eye out for, perhaps, another user who will experience the same issue and be willing to cooperate with us for fixing it.
Cheers!
yamenshahin, if you find that other things were actually responsible for slowness (or parts of it) and you want to reconsider your rating, we won’t mind. ?? Thanks!
Have you created a support ticket about this problem?
Sometimes similar situations have been solved by changing a configuration setting or by addressing a compatibility issue with another plugin installed.
I suggest that you create a ticket on the WPML support forum and we’d be glad to assist.
Hi Yamenshahin
Please note that the previous comment is 9 months old and both WPML and WooCommerce Multilingual have been greatly improved in terms of design/UI but also performance.
If you are still using either WPML or WooCommerce and still have problems, you’re more than welcome to report these issues and we’ll be glad to assist.

In reply to: [WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency with WPML] another terrible releaseIt could be something that is specific with your install (perhaps another extension) that’s causing this.
That would explain why these issues don’t come up in our testing.
If you reported this on the WPML support forum, can you please let me know the ticket.
I could help more quickly if you send me the details needed to replicate this. i.e. steps to reproduce each problem and perhaps a duplicator package that will make it even easier for us to see the problems in action.
Wanna do that?

In reply to: [WooCommerce Multilingual & Multicurrency with WPML] another terrible releaseHi Carodani
Can you tell me what happened? I can help with this.
It looks like the Shop page is slower for you. Possible because it displays multiple products.
We’ll check this to see if there’s anything that can be optimized on our end for this and let you know.
Hi Andres,
> I have dissabled now as your collegue suggested the auto register id’s and it seems faster, but still not… what i would call fast.
According to our tests on a copy of your site (that you sent to George), by disabling the strings auto-registering the load was reduced from 7-8 seconds to a little over 1 second.
Do you still see a significant difference between how your site loads with or without WPML?
We’re working on that in WPML, Andres. We’re improving performance for the string translation.
In the meantime, you can continue keeping that option turned off. As you’re not adding new strings that would need to be registered automatically, it doesn’t really help with anything to have it on.
You can get more tips about how to optimize your WPML site from here: https://wpml.org/2012/01/can-your-site-run-faster/
> That sucks ??
@humanblood – still here to help, don’t worry ?? But let’s find a way for us to be able to replicate this before we attempt to fix it. Even now we’re still looking. But if you provide more details, even better.
