If the image number is high I don’t recommend all of them at once.
If you go to “Media”, part of “Bulk Actions” there is also a “Generate Alt Text” you can do bulk on a selected number of images for now. Features like seeing the costs in the plugin admin are also in the pipeline.

@kdaly132 for now a wp single even is scheduled for each image. So they will go one by one.
The update depends on the OpenAi api timing. There are plans to make more options for the bulk update more controllable like amount per batch, timing and etc..

Thanks @kdaly132 for reporting this. There was an issue with Wp 6.6 that got addressed.
If you update to 2.0.4 version the issue will be resolved.
