If you look under wp-content/themes do you see the wp-mobile directory?

Yes, as I said, I followed the install instructions. There are only 3 steps. ??

And if so, is it set to the same permissions as the other themes?

Yes the permissions are the same.

But, I’ve already disabled to see if it fixes it. I will get back to you in the next day or two to see if it’s happened again.

Hrm, well like I said I tried disabling them all before with the same result, but I will try disabling it again (because as far as I know I followed the directions) and see if it happens again. Thanks.

OK here’s my list of things I’ve got going…

1. I’ve only got one WordPress install.
2. I’ve only got one DB with one WordPress install.
3. I can’t delete default, because I get a blank website.
4. I’m using K2.
5. No template errors that I know of that would make it change.
6. I’m getting ready to go back to MT if I can’t get this fixed, which I DON’T want to do.

I just have a basic single install so it’s obviously an issue with WordPress and not how or what you’ve got installed. Even when I try the classic theme it still does the same thing.

I’ve tried to delete all themes except my main theme as well and I also get a blank website and all themes gone from the Admin center. But it should be noted that theme isn’t physically removed, it’s just not in the Admin center anymore until I re-upload the default theme.

This is SO weird.

But I use “K2”, isn’t that supposed to be some officially sponsored theme or theme creator? I would think it’s using legal functions or whatever.

Deleting the default theme was a VERY bad solution for me when I tried it last week. What happened was, when it tried to go back to default it couldn’t find it obviously, so it kept serving blank pages.

I personally don’t have WP installed anywhere else. I do have it installed on the root (/public_html) folder though. But that shouldn’t affect it should it?

I’m having this same exact issue as well. Please give us a fix, it’s quite annoying. ??

Well as for the .xml file, I don’t think that’s going to happen without hacks. And you need to be able to edit files for that.

However, if you don’t HAVE to have the .xml file then all you need to do is (if you have permalinks setup) add /feed to the end of your catigory url:

https://www.somesecretplace.com/category/games/feed/

If you don’t have permalinks on then add ?feed=rss2 (replace rss2 with the format you want)

Thanks for the help Tollie, however I already just made the folder a sub domain instead. It’s the only real folder that I have (other than the WP directories of course) so it was easy enough that way and it works so I’m happy ??

I’ve tried redoing the htaccess file that password protects the gallery DIR, and redoing the WP htaccess through the admin interface and still nothing.

After making a test directory, it would seem that it’s blocking my Gallery directory because it’s password protected. So how do I fix that? I need that directory to be password protected.

OH, and incase you are wondering, my posts say the correct time and the setting in Options is correct (obviously, if it’s correct on the posts ;-)).
