In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Homepage not updatingI am also having problems with the cache not being refreshed for days. It seems “garbage collection” doesn’t work as expected and browser caching is very aggressive as well.
Are there any known issues/solutions with this or known conflicts?
It’s kinda hard to figure out what’s going with the info provided. Would you be able to check if the AJAX request to mrp-search.php is not giving a 404 (using firebug), or maybe check your server logs to see if there are any errors?
Hi dajuan,
Empty your browser cache and refresh. That should solve the problem.
Hi Erica,
Try emptying your browser cache.
Hi,
Hm I don’t know. Maybe you can find out what’s going on using the Firebug extension? Can you see if the mrp-search.php is called and what it returns?

In reply to: [Plugin: Microkid’s Related Posts] Change “Related Post” headingThanks for sharing. Please note that the layout of the related posts depends on the theme you are using.
Excellent! Maybe you could take the time to hit the “Works” button in the Compatibility box on the plugins page:

Ah, I’ve solved the issue. There was an HTML bug that occurred when a post had no related posts and the “Display this text” option was turned on.
Please install the new version (3.0.1) and let me know if it works now.
Ah! Now I understand.
The plugin loads its own CSS file in the admin. This file has been altered in the new version, but your browser was still displaying the old cached version of the file.
So if you run into this problem, hit shift + refresh or empty your browser cache.
@noelmoralde does this solve your issue?
Hi noelmoralde,
It’s really hard for me to tell what’s going on from the information you give me. Is there somewhere I can see the problem?
Hi hauruapai,
Can you check if you have selected any post types on the plugins settings page?
And can you explain a little more about how your layout got messed up?
You can select the related post from my plugin using MRP_get_related_post, and if there are none, display posts from YARRP.
Sure is! I’ve already posted a reply on your other thread, the new version 3.0 of the plugin has support for custom post types.

In reply to: Custom Post Types and PluginsHi whipd09,
I have just released version 3.0 of my plugin. Apart from a bunch of other cool new features, this version also adds support for custom post types. You can update it through your WordPress admin or read more about the new version on the Microkids Related Posts plugin website
Check it out and let me know what you think!
