I have had to have the cron process killed because it is hanging up and causing too many processes. This may indeed be the problem.

I use the WordPress Automatic Upgrade plug-in.
You may have to upgrade the database, hopefully you can find some more info on that. What version did you upgrade from?

The wp-content folder needs to be overwritten. Your posts are stored in the data base.

FYI all you hostile people, I searched these forums for “Keep post on top”, “timestamp”, “keep post above others” and found nothing.

Thats the last time I’ll come here and ask anyone for help. (not that any of you seem to care) How do you know what I did before I came here. I came here as a last resort after searching GOOGLE/Yahoo/ AND WP. There is a lot of mis information about this topic out there so I thought I might ask if someone else could “kindly” shed some light. I really think if someone has a rude answer or tone that it would serve everyone better to just ignore the thread. Heck just because you “know” the answer and someone else does not, does not make the other person lazy. C-YA

I would never give someone a smart answer, especially in a forum when they ask a question. Forums are for help and not sarcasm. Grow Up!
