How best to use this if some the categories I want to import go up to 7 deep? I’m working with something like:

Just before I do, what is the difference between the script you have based this plugin on:

It’s from custom code added to search.php file.

There is no use of

– get_the_post_thumbnail
– wp_get_attachment_image

That I know of, although the images are created via a shortcode to a plugin in search.php using do_shortcode.

Lots of reading up and it led me to the fact that it is outside of the ‘loop’.

Used <?php echo do_shortcode (‘[do_widget id=myid]’); and it worked fine.

The only things I have done to the default theme is:

– Create child theme
– Remove header image
– Enable dark colour scheme

Update:

Got this working now so thanks to Andres_r for pointing me in the right direction. Once I’d worked out how to do a db dump and then find and replace that info, it was just a matter of uploading and ensuring wp-config was edited correctly.

Digging up an old thread I know…

I’m looking to accomplish exactly the same as the original poster was. Are there any plugins out now that accomplish this, and if not, is there anybody who could tell me how to ‘Do a db dump & a find & replace of the subdomain with the new domain, restore on the new server’ please?

I could check wp-config and htaccess myself I think.

I have changed the Admin login for WP, and cancalled their FTP account. How would I change the MySQL database password, and what are the implications on WordPress when I do this?

Do I have to worry that any of my ‘keys’ need changing if they have looked in wp-config.php, or doesn’t that matter?
