I get the same problem but in live site working like a charm.
I have uncheked the API but nothing works : the link to download my product is not an address just a long text of numbers and words.
I have tried to delete my latest version of your plugin and tried the one that you propose those last 3 months (stripe-payments_2.0.10t2.zip), also unchecked the API : nothing seems to work.

The only way to make it work is to check the API but my Stripe account says that at the end of this year 2019 there will be a lot of payments refused…
Can you help me ?

PS And I know that to make work the SCA we have to uncheck the API…

In the meantime checking the box button Tinymce will display “Télécharger” and not “Télécharger le catalogue”.
Hoping it will help.

The simple way to translate “Download Now” is “Télécharger”.

(The literal translation would be “Télécharger maintenant” but we rarely use it in french.)

I’ve just tested the latest version with WP 5.0.3 and Google Chrome portable (Version 70.0.3538.77 (Build officiel) (32 bits)).
Even if we write 0 amount it charges the right amount.

It works fine.

OK, I’ve tried Create a product, change the value ot the item 3€ to 0€ (using Ctrl+Maj+I).
Pay the order with my own credit card and here’s what is displayed:
Product Name: Memento 396 accords
Quantity: 1
Item Price: €3
——————————–
Total Amount: €3

It means that the price is 3€ whenever if it’s displayed 0€.
Seems to work fine!

I see that it’s better to use this code:
-[asp_product id=”24xx”] than
-[accept_stripe_payment name=”396 accords” price=”3.00″ url=”https://guitare.mg-records.com/….pdf” button_text=”Acheter” class=”my-super-cool-button” item_logo=”https://guitare.mg-records.com/wp-content/….png” description=”Boutique sécurisée par STRIPE” ]
