Hi, in your WordPress dashboard it is likely that he will have the discussion settings set to “administrator must always approve the comment”
which means that he can approve comments or delete them if he considers them to be spam. But they won’t appear until they have been approved.
This is the default setting I believe.
In the WordPress dashboard go to the settings tab in the left hand column and then open the discussion tab. You can un check the “before a comment appears” box if he wants comments to appear automatically
