In reply to: [Fullscreen Slider] Responsive SlidesIs 2000×1200 the size the pictures should be? I’m having trouble with the picture being cut off.
Dear GuillermoGomezPhoto,
I figured it out!
Go to >>> Theme Options > Homepage Settings > Homepage Headline Options. Then you can do the editing there.
Cheers!

I am looking for this, too! UNtil I can see that I can work with this beautiful theme, I don’t want to go pro. https://beckygloriod.berkshirehathawaycs.com/
I’m having the same issue with WP 3.9.1. https://www.REACHPikesPeak.org

In reply to: [Catch Kathmandu] tables don't line up@catch Themes author–Wow! I love your theme! Unfortunately, my client wants to go back to 2012 for the old model. But I tried! I WILL use your stuff for future websites, and I’ll do a better job presenting it. It killed me to go back to header, sidebar, scrolling content, when I can have a striking front page that presents all of the content upfront and looks great on all sizes of screens.
Thanks for your help on the tables–I’ll need to know for the future.

In reply to: [Catch Kathmandu] tables don't line upHi. I took out the tables on the URL listed above, so here are new URLs, same code in both, as far as what I put in the editor, not the theme writer.
Page that works: https://ppcaa.org/wordpress/about-us/our-staff/
Page that doesn’t work: https://www.reachpikespeak.org/about-us/staff/
BTW, just wanted to say that I’ve never used this theme before, but think it rocks!

In reply to: [Suffusion] My header is not responsive@crunchydata, thank you for your help. Just the kind of information I’m looking for. I built the rest of the site in WordPress using Suffusion, so I was hoping that I could keep the rest and just change the front page. I’ve already coded the search box.

In reply to: [Suffusion] My header is not responsiveThank you so much! I have seen the use of child pages in the forums, but don’t really know what they are. I will reasearch tho, thanks!

In reply to: [Suffusion] My header is not responsive@crunchydata, I totally agree. I have about 9 website I’ve done with Suffusion, and they’re all different and easy to work with.
I was wondering, since you’ve made so many sites, if you could give me a suggestion. I’m trying to make a front page on a website that looks like:
https://www.BerkshireHathawayHS.com
After the front page, it will go to search pages, etc., that looks like the ones on my site right now (that I had to throw together quickly when we changed from Prudential to Berkshire Hathaway). https://www.BerkshireHathawayCS.com
I was thinking a 100% package that is transparent, with a plugin that changes the background? What do you think?

In reply to: [Suffusion] My header is not responsiveI use Suffusion for all of my websites, and I don’t have problems with it. I don’t do anything complicated, but it is SOOOOO versatile!

In reply to: [Suffusion] My header is not responsiveCan you tell me the URL of your site, and take a screen shot of what your suffusions settings are for the header?
did you upload an image for the foreground header or the background header?
One thing I’ve done before is too choose a background color, don’t upload any header image to suffusion, and go to the wordpress place for background image under Appearances, and upload the header as a background image.
Please elt me know how it goes so I can see your site!

In reply to: [Suffusion] My header is not responsiveWhere is your site? Remind me what non-responsive means? I’ve had some trouble with the WordPress site header changing what happens with my Suffusion header. Love eto help you if I can.

In reply to: [Customizr] Featured page images on IE 8THanks for your help. dug for me and wow for you. LOL
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Customizr] Featured page images on IE 8I respect the rules. I have 7 clients who all use Internet Explorer of different versions. My sites look fine in Safari, FF and Chrome, but I go to show the sites to my clients and the WordPress sites look like junk. I CANT tell my clients to upgrade their browsers. This is not a solution. For instance, next week, a new site will be shown at a board meeting, using Internet Explorer on a projector. I can’t tell everyone in the world to upgrade their browsers. My clients want to know that the site will look good to 90% of the public, not just the tech-savvy ones.
I pulled out an old Windows computer I had, but it is XP and will only run up to IE 8. The WordPress 3.8 interface doesn’t function properly.
A site under construction is: https://ppcaa.org/wordpress This is the one that won’t show properly on my client’s computer that will be used for the board meeting.
Another site that looked HORRIBLE on a client’s computer yesterday in a meeting is: https://www.themortgagedoctorco.com. It looks great on my Mac with Safari.
My clients whose simple site that just shows PDFs is: https://www.satellite-hoa.com/
This client says he can’t see the PDFs themselves, just the icons. This is killing me. I am not an expert. Should I buy a new windows laptop to work my sites? If I get a laptop with Windows 8 and IE 10, can I run WordPress in those environments and make the sites look right for my clients and the endless number of people all over the world who use only IE? I don’t want to buy a WIndows computer and find out this doesn’t help. Is there a plugin or code I can use to adjust for different IE versions? I hope I don’t have to do that.
If anyone can help me, I’d appreciate it. Please don’t tell me Im dumb or whatever, because I already know that. Thanks.
