In reply to: [Mammoth .docx converter] Donate to you?On the rare occasion that people have offered to make a donation as a thanks, I’ve sent over some PayPal details. Having said that, I’d also be happy if you made a contribution to a charity, such as the Trussell Trust: https://www.trusselltrust.org/

In reply to: [Mammoth .docx converter] Retaining Image file names from doc ?Did you try setting the Title or the Description field when setting the alt text? If I set the description in Google Docs, both the exported Word document and the HTML generated by Mammoth seem to include the description.

In reply to: [Mammoth .docx converter] Retaining Image file names from doc ?The images are named using the alt text of the image, if any is available. I don’t know whether an exported Google Doc would contain the original image file names.

In reply to: [Mammoth .docx converter] Strange “a” elements within HTML headingsBookmarks in the document are converted to anchors in the HTML output. If you get rid of the bookmarks in the original document, then the corresponding anchors shouldn’t appear in the output.

In reply to: [Mammoth .docx converter] Docx conversion errorI’m afraid I don’t have the same issue when I’ve tried WordPress 5.5. Do you get any errors in the Developer Tools console? Do you get the same issue if you disable all other plugins?
I’ve just published a new version (1.16.0) that updates how the Gutenberg editor is detected. Could you give it a try and see if you still have the same issue?

In reply to: [Mammoth .docx converter] Docx conversion errorThanks for the reports with Yoast. Do you have other plugins installed, such as the Classic Editor, or is Yoast the only other plugin?
Thanks for letting me know what browser you’re using. I’ve tried using Google Chrome successfully, so I don’t think that’s the culprit.
Do you have any other plugins installed? If so, do you get the same error without those plugins running? Similarly, do you get the same error when using the default theme and no other plugins?
The plugin largely works in the browser, so shouldn’t need any particular PHP modules.

What browser are you using to import the document?
I seem to be able to import the document without any errors. Do you have any other plugins installed? If so, do you get the same error without those plugins running? Similarly, do you get the same error when using the default theme and no other plugins?

In reply to: [Mammoth .docx converter] Docx conversion errorI’ve just tried Mammoth on WordPress 5.4.2 with WooCommerce installed, and the plugin worked fine for me.
Could you try using the plugin with no other plugins and the default theme installed and see if you have the same issue?
Also, could you provide an example document?
