In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Shortcode for appliedHi @mwfboss
Those are not features that are available in the main WP Job Manager plugin. In the main plugin the only application options are to send an email, or direct to a link where you have set up an application form. In either of those cases, there isn’t any tracking in WP Job Manager for which jobs have been applied to or what the status of the application is.
Those features are available in the Applications add-on that we sell, but for help with setting that up you would need to contact us at the below form, as we are not able to support premium add-ons in this forum per www.remarpro.com community guidelines.

In reply to: [Jetpack Social] Jetpack Social ProblemHi @clayshooter
I took a look at your site and I’m not seeing any issues with the Jetpack connection currently, there are a couple things we can check to see what is causing trouble. Are you having any trouble with any other pages that use Jetpack on your site, or have you installed any other new plugins recently?
It could also be an error with cached browser data, are you having the same error when you try accessing the page from another device? You can clear the browser cache by following these steps for the browser you use:
Could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look?

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Shortcode for appliedHi @mwfboss
With the default WP Job Manager plugin, there is not a feature for users to apply directly within the plugin, it only has the options for applying by email or to link to another page where the user can use a form you created to apply. In that case, the form would be supplied by another plugin or feature and would not be tracked by WP Job Manager.
If instead you are using the Applications add-on for WP Job Manager, you would need to contact us at the form below for support as per www.remarpro.com community guidelines, we are not allowed to support premium plugins (paid add-ons) in these forums.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Search Not Working / not loading all JobsHi @raisaab007
I tested the search on the link you provided and it was pulling up results based on my searches. Is there something specific about the search that you are having trouble with? If possible, can you take a screenshot and post it here so I can see what it is showing for you?

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] “highlighted jobs” widget looks brokenHi @flamuren
With how it is showing and what you are describing, it does sound like it would be Elementor that is causing the change in how it looks. You can test to know for sure by temporarily switching to a different theme to see how it looks.
I’m glad to hear that you were able to get it working on your site again, and thanks for providing those details on what you did to correct the issue! From what you’re describing it does sound like a plugin conflict that was interfering with how Jetpack was syncing with your site.
Let us know if you do have any more trouble with it!

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] WPBakeryHi @livmellas
I took a look at your site on my phone and everything appeared to be formatted correctly on the job board. Was there something specific you were noticing when you check it?

Hi @atfpodcast
For security plugins, do you have any plugins that provide firewall services, like WordFence, or any plugins that scan your site?
You can also try temporarily disabling your other plugins and then see if the https://www.abovethefirehouse.com/xmlrpc.php page is loading correctly for your site after that. If it is, you can test enabling the other plugins one at a time to see when the xmlrpc file starts having trouble again, that will let you know which plugin is causing the issue.
If it still isn’t working with all the other plugins disabled, your best option would be to get in contact with your hosting provider to see if they are blocking access to the file. If they are, they can add the Jetpack IP address ranges to the server allowlist to make sure that Jetpack is able to connect. This page has the ranges that would need to be added:

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Last name in resumeHi @thedvshow
Sorry! I wrote my previous answer without thinking about the fact that you were asking about the Resume Manager add-on for WP Job Manager. Per www.remarpro.com community guidelines, we are not allowed to support premium plugins (paid add-ons) in these forums.
Please use this form for further support for our paid add-ons:

Just to answer your last question, using the exact snippet in that page changes it from
/resume/brian-4kv7tze-engineer/
into/resume/engineer/brian-4kv7tze-engineer/
, but please use the above link to contact us directly so we can discuss it further.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Button “To Apply for This Job”Hi @stakedeals
Your best option for this would be to add a new field for the phone number as a text field, and then either edit the email field to make it optional, or remove it entirely using this snippet:
https://wpjobmanager.com/customization-snippets/#removeField
I did some more checking and once you have the phone number field, you would actually need to override the template for either the email (job-application-email.php) or url (job-application-url.php) to show the new phone number field instead of the email or application link.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Last name in resumeHi @thedvshow
The random string is included to prevent two candidates who happen to have the same first and last name from causing an issue with the permalink. You can modify what details the permalink includes using the following snippet:

We aren’t able to provide support for custom code, but this should get you started!

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Location with No LinkHi @biomeglio
To remove that, you would need to change the template for the Single Job Listing, or write some custom code to remove the link from the location data. These pages have more details on overriding the template files in WP Job Manager:
