504 gateway timeout is often related to your webserver or your internet connection. Have you tried again? Does this error occur when trying to save posts or pages?

Hmmm… Tags are still a beta feature. They are enabled, but don’t serve much purpose (although they do improve search results). I haven’t tried using tags in a menu before. Can you use categories instead? I’ll try and see what I can do.

The free version does not allow you to display listings in a page. Listings are displayed individually, or in a category archive page. For example, if you have a category called “Fitness”, then all the listings in that category will appear on yoursite.com/listing-category/fitness.

The Pro version has shortcodes that allow you to display listings in posts or pages. You can buy the pro version from CodeCanyon

There are no “pages” in the WordPress sense. The plugin creates posts for each listing and archive pages for each category. For example, if you have a category called “Fitness”, you will see the archive at https://yoursite.com/listing-category/fitness, which will display all of the listings in that category.

I’m afrad that I can’t always provide specific support for themes, especially ones that were not downloaded from the WordPress directory. The pro version, available from CodeCanyon, comes with better support.

I tested the virtue theme, and I think that I found the problem. The theme sets the right and left hand margins of each row to -15px. In order to fix this on pages used by Simple Directory, you need to do the following:
1. Upgrade to 1.4.16
2. add the following code to the Custom CSS box under Listings->Settings:
.row {margin-left:0px!important;}

I can’t guarantee that there won’t be other layout issues with this theme however.

dimned… unfortunately it is impossible to test the plugin with every theme. However, I do see that Virtue is built with Bootstrap. The Pro version of Simple Directory includes bootstrap-based page templates, so that may be something to consider. You see it at CodeCanyon

As for the issues… The credit link at the bottom is in the right place…. The missing images are odd, I’m not sure why they are causing you problems. As for the broken sidebars, this is a recurring issue with some themes, and I am working on solving the problem.

I took a look at your site, and on mobile, I do see the problem. However, I don’t see an issue on my PC.
I would most certainly be interested in a German translation! That would be fantastic.
