The test site I created (nuancesyrup.com) not longe has the test set up I created for you as you didn’t bother to fully investigate, I switched the site back to something else.

As I first reported, I first experienced this on a site running Storefront theme. I could not totally eliminate all of the potential conflicts as this was and is a functioning e-commerce store. I also experienced it on other sites I own and maintain, using other themes. I am fully AWARE and totally know how to use the customizer and all other finctions and aspects of WorPress, as I SAID, I have been doing this since 2011. I have made dozens of websites with WordPress and build themes from scratch as well as using ready made themes. The last time it happened, I decided to help out wordpress by setting up a site that absolutely, positively without a doubt, once and for all PROVED there is a core issue. Instead of taking me seriously you have wasted my time, wasted the time of any other people who have struggled with the same issue. Your attitude is that of a condescending twit.

No, this has not been resolved. Your reply to my post ignored what I wrote. Before I submitted this, I read through many of the related posts on the subject and tried all of the suggestions. I used the custimizer settings, I made sure the correct setting was made on the catagory page. I tried this using several different themes. I tried it without running any other plugins. I triied it on a barebones theme (underscore). I tried it with different products. I am familiar with the process of indentifying and isoloating problem code. There is something wrong with products showing instead of subcatagories. There is also an issue with the video guntenburg block not staing aligned but that is another topic.

I have the same issue. I do not have the mini cart feature. The home page is a custom template with only html. See screen shot for page speed insight.

Yes, you’re right, and I have changed it. I might have done sooner, but I don’t often visit this page.
My frustrations were not so much with the plugin itself, but with the authors and team’s refusing to acknowledge the flaws and document them, even though they knew of many of them. It wasted a great deal of my time.

To your credit, Pods did address most if not all of the issues I raised. It’s unfortunate that it took this review to finally get your attention, as I had diligently attempted to notify your team via slack but was dismissed as it was presumed that I was someone without enough knowledge to know a true bug from just not understanding the software. These issues cost me a good deal of time and frustration.
While there is a rather large library of information on using pods, (which is quite remarkable for any plugin, let alone a free one) some of the documentation is outdated and/or has errors. This is frustrating.
The single most significant lesson I learned-Saying you do need to use php to use pods, is not at all the same as saying you do not need to know and understand how to use PHP when using Pods.

That said, Pods is a very useful plugin and the Pods team has put a lot of work into this.

I have the same issue as bgoldman. Anyway to get past this?

The only plugin that I have that could be an issue is Pods. But I can’t diaable it, it must be there for the site to function.

I can’t get it to work. The FAQ and help files are vague and short on detail.
They tend to skip over some info and if you have an issue, it’s go pay someone. I would happily buy the plugin if it worked. If I need to pay someone t move the site, why would I want this plugin anyway?
I have migrated many sites, using manual and other other plugins. This plugin adds code to the wp-config that isn’t there in other migrations and if you try to modify or remove it the file won’t save.
