Deleted a slew of old deactivated plugins and voila! Back to working.

Welcome to the club. The only solution, until they actually fix this problem, is to install ver. 1.9.13. That one works. Evewrything after that gives you the results you’re seeing and no one can tell me why.

It’s broken. It’s been broken since Ver. 2.0. No one’s bothering to fix it even though we’re up to 2.0.27 which also doesn’t work.

Would suggest going back to 1.9.13 which does work.

OK, just upgraded to the latest version (2.0.21) and the slideshow still doesn’t work on the home page. Works on the slideshow page.

I tried the earlier upgrade (2.0) on my website, https://www.rockyforkformulas.com, and the slideshow did not work. Tried the latest release assuming the slideshow would work. It doesn’t.

Is there some magic setting to get the slideshow to work on the main page without going out to a different page?

I’m leaving the non-working page up for a while so the developers of Nextgen galleries can find out what the problem is, then I’m going to revert to a working version.

I rolled back. I am assuming this is a temporary setback and will upgrade again when this issue is fixed. Great plug-in, by the way, despite this issue.

The plugin listed by manishtana is the correct one. It has exactly the same name. We have been using that one for some time.

I updated a plugin called ShareThis which popped up in my update section of the dashboard listed as version 7.0.1
