I’ve just pushed fix for this in a silent release so if you re-download the current version it’ll be fixed.

On some servers Apache will list the contents of the directory by default allowing the public to download its contents which is a security concern.

By putting a blank index.php in the directory it will render it instead of the contents of the directory thus hiding them from view.

Adding the “Silence is golden” comment is a WordPress thing that I copied, you’d have to ask Matt why it started ??
