thanks a lot for your answer.

The trouble is – there is no support for Highslide JS any longer.
Nevertheless in my eyes Highslide JS is a very good image viewer.
I have taken a closer look to Highslide JS.
In Highslide JS there are 2 different attributes ( image title and alternative text )

I’ve tried it – both attributes works with Highslide JS

As I see it NextGen Gallery catches the image title and the description of an image.

Would it be possible to fill in some text in the description field and declare it as
alternative text? (changing php. code?)

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Tobias,

as I see it – it works with “method 2”. All rows have the same distance
and I can set line breaks.

thank you very much for your help! I have copied the table and tried your 2 solutions.

1. I have removed all extra line breaks from the table cells

– result: all the rows have the same distance, but the automatical line break is a little bit confusing.

2. I have not removed all extra line breaks, added your Shortcode to the table

– result: all the rows has the same distance, the line breaks are as desired!

Hey Hannah,

no, I try another way.
If you go to the portfolio page in the Virtue Free Theme Demo
and hoover over the thumbnails – ( e.g. the upper left – Gallery photography ) – then the image is more transpartent.
This is the effect I want to have.

How can I do that? Are these things much easier to manage with the Premium Theme?

thank you very much, I think this helps.

The hover effect should be the same
as in the Portfolio Site.
That means, if I click on a thumbnail
the hoover effect for this image should
be transparent.
Instead of ‘transparent’ I said ‘lighten’.
How can I do that?

Would it be possible to display these images first in a smaller version (let’s say 1000x750px) with some information below

– and then: enlargement-function of this image(1000x750px) (toggle size or something like that)to display this image in the fullversion.
(e.g. 2000x1500px)

Does the Virtue Free Theme or Virtue Premium Theme offers this function?
