In reply to: [CFD Multi-Tiered Shipping For WooCommerce] A very good solution!Sadly, I got started then got overwhelmed by events. I still plan to return to this plugin at some point when life gets a bit simpler.
Hello Christian,
At this time the plugin does not have that functionality. I’m not sure WooCommmerce even presents that capability. When life gets simpler I’ll revisit this to see if it can become a new feature, but that won’t be anytime soon.Glad to hear that the plugin otherwise meets your needs.

In reply to: [CFD Multi-Tiered Shipping For WooCommerce] A very good solution!Thank you for the kind review. I am again turning my attention to this plugin, moving and testing it against the newest LAMP stack and WP and WC versions, etc. Glad you have found it to be very stable for you over the past few years. I originally wrote it for my daughter; very glad to hear that others are benefitting too.
Cheers and Happy Holidays: Christmas, New Years, and whatever else is available to celebrate.

In reply to: [CFD Multi-Tiered Shipping For WooCommerce] Is this plugin still maintained? In short, yes. It has been pretty stable over many versions and life has kept me busy elsewhere, but yes, I’m still paying attention to it. Most recently I updated the stack on which I maintain the development version and it continues to function as advertise. At some point life should get simpler and I’ll have a higher profile with this plugin.
Thanks for asking.
Or, rereading your question, maybe tier 1 is used for the single item scenario, tiers >= 2 for the flat rate scenario? Still not what you want, but you can control the costs this way.
Another possibility: if the “label” was configurable at the tier level, rather than assuming one “label” for all tiers, would that be of benefit? For the moment this is a stray thought, but if you find it useful, I’ll consider developing it.
My day job is particularly intense, so it might take a few weeks or months, depending on how life in general happens to be treating me ??
If you created Tier 1 to for 1 item and Tier 2 for 1+ items, and didn’t use Tiers 3 & 4. Would that give you enough control of the shipping costs? I understand what the client wants to see is two options, but this plugin isn’t designed for that and I don’t think it would be straightforward to add this functionality. Sorry that I can’t say, yes, try this. Best of luck with looking for your preferred solution. Thanks for taking a look at the Multi-Tiered Shipping plugin.

In reply to: [CFD Multi-Tiered Shipping For WooCommerce] Shipping Costs LabelI have determined that my plugin doesn’t hardcode the trailing “:”, which would have been bad form in any case as you’ve pointed out. WC must be generating it, which suggests that you can override it. Just how I’ve not yet figured out, but if I do I’ll post that info here. If you do, I’d be grateful of you let us all know how. Meanwhile, I’m reading through the WC API docs to see what I can learn.
Thanks for the question. At this time I don’t envision creating sets of tiers on an additional dimension. The user interface would get too complex. The other challenge is wedging into the bottom of the WC form the preview table. My early research suggested that WC is poorly equipped for allowing developers to do this. So while I got it to work for the single set of tiers, it would not scale well. Sorry not to have a more cheerful answer. Apologies for the delayed response; my day job has been particularly intense as of late.
I will continue to ponder this as time permits. There may be a creative strategy that hasn’t occurred to me yet.

In reply to: [CFD Multi-Tiered Shipping For WooCommerce] Europe delivery zone ignoredIt appears that you can set up your shipping zones as needed, such as one for the European Union. Here’s the WooCommerce documentation on how to do that:
<https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/setting-up-shipping-zones/>
I Googled the following to find the above link: “woocommerce shipping european union”.Since WooCommerce has a solution, it is outside of the scope of the plugin to try and also solve.
Hope that makes sense and that the reference is helpful. If I’ve misunderstood your question, please let me know and I’ll reopen this ticket.

In reply to: [CFD Multi-Tiered Shipping For WooCommerce] include taxes to shipping costsI’ll mark this as resolved for now and can reopen if you have further questions. Note that I’ll be paying more attention here since I also have a feature enhancement request to research.

In reply to: [CFD Multi-Tiered Shipping For WooCommerce] Europe delivery zone ignoredHopefully the table at the bottom of the settings page helped you to more quickly derive the needed settings to get the results you are after.
You request sounds like something that can be easily implemented. I’ll review and let you know.
Thanks for your interest in this plugin.

In reply to: [CFD Multi-Tiered Shipping For WooCommerce] include taxes to shipping costsBy design you should only have to update the WooCommerce settings. This plugin is limited to augmenting the shipping methods. It should be just that simple.
This has been addressed. Thank you for reporting the issue.
