    Hahaha.. Thought that title might draw some attention.

    Thanks so much for the code and the compliment. I tried it but no go. Thinking of trying it directly in the style.css, but I know that’s a no no.

    Right now I am trying to incorporate the lines into the scheme til I find the resolution.

    Having difficulty changing the footer widget area color as well. Open to suggestions. Will keep searching.

    Yes I am a bit confused about the child theme creation. I decided to use a css plugin instead until I can understand it better.

    Explaining that the code “can’t possibly get any more specific” and needed no changes, was helpful. I mistakenly assumed the (@impokenlyrt url) was to be replaced with my domain name.

    I am learning code on my on and grateful for direction.

    I am really not understanding the syntax for this entry:
    @import url(“../twentytwelve/style.css”);

    Can please be more specific? This is what I got from that and tried, but it did not work:

    @(“https://globalmanagementalliance.com/wp/themestwentytwelve/style.css”);

    Thanks

    Thanks for response. I deactivated the pluggin when I couldn’t locate any solutions to the button not working. Will try again today and update if any change.

    Thanks for the responses.

    I tried installing a plugin manually via FTP and found that works. I was a little disappointed that the “add new” feature was not available as well as the ability to search pluggins, but at least I can get the functionality I need now.

    Not too abreast of how parent and child themes work, though I know they are advantageous. Listed in THEMES is my Cherry 3.1 theme which is active and also there is the business theme 43180.

    I think my host (TMD) installed the 43180 theme as a child of Cherry if that is possible. Because when I activated 43180 none of the customizations I had done were there. So I switched back to Cherry and all was well.

    Anyway learned a thing or two.

    Here is an answer I got from Template Help. Didn’t try it caise I already resolved my issue.

    Slider are setup to be displayed in Alphabetical order, you can check it or change order in the slider.php file under Appearance – Editor – slider.php file:
    query_posts(“post_type=slider&posts_per_page=-1&post_status=publish&orderby=name&order=ASC”);

    I guess it’s true that there’s more than one way to skin a cat.

    I found a way to change the order and choice of images in the slider that worked for me. I located the path of the images folder for the slider and renamed the files I wanted changed. Then I uploaded the image files I desired with the original file name and deleted the changed ones.

    Worked like a charm! I am still awaiting the answer to the proper way to do this.
