MatthewHi @emanuelemn,
Thank you for starting the topic!
To display the number of views for the posts, kindly navigate to Statistics > Settings > Display Options > Frontend Display in your WordPress admin area. From there, enable the “Views in Single Contents” option.
Additionally, you can choose whether to show the number of views before or after the content, depending on your preference.

MatthewDear @rpweb777,
Please accept my apologies if my initial request was unclear.
To clarify, could you kindly let us know exactly where this issue occurs? Are the quotation marks being replaced in the content of your posts/pages, or are they from strings in the admin area? A screenshot would greatly help us understand the situation better.
Additionally, please note that we have not been able to reproduce the issue with WP Statistics (tested with version 14.0, 14.9, and 14.10) and WordPress version 6.6.2. For your reference, here are the screenshots: https://i.vgy.me/lun3rN.png -> https://i.vgy.me/oKUJSD.png.
Thank you for your cooperation!

MatthewWe are glad to hear that!

After reviewing the requests on your website, I can confirm that they are not being successfully submitted, and as a result, the data is not being recorded properly.

In the meantime, could you let us know if you are using any cache plugins?

MatthewHi @francy27,
Thank you for opening the thread!
Kindly note that the Automatic Cleanup option is enabled by default and set to 180 days. This feature helps remove older data to enhance database performance and improve overall website efficiency.
Additionally, we are aware of the issue with the alert (popup) and would like to assure you that our team is actively working on a fix, which will be included in an upcoming release.
Lastly, we regret to inform you that deleted data cannot be restored. Please consider disabling the Automatic Cleanup option if you need to keep the older data.
Thank you!

MatthewHi @gooloode,
Thank you for reaching out to us!
Could you please confirm whether WP Statistics failed to exclude visits from the predefined list of bots, or if there are visits from bots not included in the default list?
Please note that any unwanted data must be deleted manually from the database if needed. You can refer to our guide to learn more about the tables related to WP Statistics and the type of data each one stores: https://wp-statistics.com/resources/wp-statistics-database-tables/.
Additionally, the Robot Exclusions settings (found under Statistics > Settings > Filtering & Exceptions) offer options to minimize robot visits, such as the Robot View Threshold and Honey Pot Protection.
We look forward to your response!

MatthewDear @maxbyer,
Could you please confirm if you have deactivated and then reactivated version 14.11 (or later)?
Please note that you do not need to make any manual changes to the database. The missing columns should be created automatically upon reactivating the plugin.
After reactivation, kindly check if the columns are created and test the tracking functionality to ensure visitors are being recorded.
Thank you!
