Hi Kadence Themes,
I defined the .reasons class in the ‘Avanced’ section of the Theme Options. Then I added class=”reasons” to the
- tag on the page with the list I wanted to customise.
It didn’t work. But it did work when I did exactly the same thing but replaced “reasons” with “entry-content”
Thank you very much for sorting this out for me ??
Thanks very much for your response Kadence Themes. It worked!
One thing I’m completely puzzled by: I used the same code with just one change – I called the class .reasons – and it didn’t work. When I changed the class name to ‘entry-content’ it worked. Why?
Thanks again for sorting this problem.
Hi there,
Since writing my original post I’ve had to revert to the default bullets so you’re right, the stray bullets are no longer there. They appeared on the left immediately below the home slider.

In reply to: [Virtue] Issue with text wrapping around images on small screensIt worked! Thanks. ??
(Great theme BTW, thank you!)
I actually added it to the theme Advanced Settings > Custom CSS box. Do you think it would make a difference to add it directly to the style.css file?
(Thanks for the super-fast response BTW! V. impressed ?? )
Hi Ov3rfly,
Thanks very much for that suggestion. I’ve tried it (both the .container and #content.container options) but it didn’t work ??
Still trying to figure this one out…
Ok, I know I’m partially answering my own question! I found the forum search snippet and though I couldn’t find an exact response, some of the answers suggest that the issue may be to do with the theme.
I’m using Virtue WordPress theme. Here’s my site. I can see on inspecting the element that the Meta Slider is inside three divs:
- #content .container
- .row
- .main col-md-12 role=”main”
I’m just not sure what to do with that information to make the slider display full width (and full width at different resolutions)

In reply to: [Customizr] Managing Main Menu Text ColoursYep, I’ve been trying another theme to see if I could get the look I was trying to achieve without the issues I’ve experienced.
I’ve switched it back to a Customizr child theme (created using the one-click child theme plugin) now and have deleted all Custom CSS except the snippet to change to text colour to brown (keeping the background white circumvents many of the issues I’ve been experiencing but its not a real solution if I want a brown background!)
Thanks for responding. Hopefully we’ll get to the bottom of the various issues. ??

In reply to: [Customizr] Managing Main Menu Text ColoursThat explains the displacement! Thank you.
Yes, I had the logo switched off in sticky header. I tried it with shrink logo in sticky header mode but the logo was too small. I’m now working with keeping the sticky header with the full size logo. Now I need to figure out how to keep the header colour brown on scrolling….
The snippet you suggested doesn’t seem to work ??
I’ve started from scratch again with my custom CSS (I was beginning to wonder whether some of my customisations were conflicting with one another).
I’m still stuck trying to change the footer background colour too. I’ve found snippets in the forum based on the footer#footer id but theses do not seem to have any effect. I’m stumped!

In reply to: [Customizr] Managing Main Menu Text ColoursOops! I spoke too soon – couple of teething problems with the proposed fixes:
The current page menu item remains bold and cream on scrolling (so not so easy to see).
Still haven’t managed to switch off the hover effect on the menu items, especially noticeable when scrolling.
Hmm.

In reply to: [Customizr] Managing Main Menu Text Colours@rdellconsulting Thank you! Very much appreciated ??
They all worked fantastically except number 2. The Navigation is already set to Menu on right but it still bounces on scrolling?
