SOLVED

Worked out that it was a plugin that was making the ‘page’ metabox display under ‘screen display’ and along the right hand side of the screen. So I installed it on my site and it all works now.

I decided to try another way by just disabling the theme and being able to login that way to perform a backup restore since I had made a backup using “backup guard” plugin. All seems to be working fine now.

I did what you said and replaced the functions.php file and I still get the same thing:

i was using cuteftp and then logged into my host account and used their ftp service through the browser and now it finally deleted ??

maybe you can help me with another problem.. when i upload a plugin to the plugin section it uploads ok but when i click on activate it then comes up with “Plugin file does not exist.”? any ideas?

hi zoonini, i just tried going into my ftp and deleting the folder and it came up with message:

ERROR:> [9/04/2011 10:28:30 AM] Requested action not taken (e.g., file or directory not found, no access).

any idea of what i can do?
