Thank you for your reply, yes I am using AVIA but I was wondering if there are some general resources that can teach me how layout builders are typically structured and function, if it makes sense…

    Thank you for your reply.

It’s not really a question whether or not I really want to see the change. My question is, if I am not technically savvy enough, do I need to give up minor changes to my website to avoid the site slow down? Or, are there ways to purge cache only for the Theme? Or, maybe it’s okay to “purge everything,” as it’s possible that Cloudflare is exaggerating the impact? I have no idea because I have never done that. Just wanted some advice.

OK I thought I fixed it.
    By following this,

    https://support.cloudflare.com/hc/en-us/articles/200169526-Disabling-Cloudflare-features-on-admin-pages-for-content-management-systems-like-WordPress

I am now able to add new posts and edit them.

However, I cannot edit old posts I created before yesterday. When I try to use layout builder, it’s hourglass forever. If I don’t use layout builder, it lets me save or publish, but when I try to re-edit the same post from WP dashboard, the updates are gone.

Thanks, I’ve read the article before I posted this, but..

    >This error usually occurs when you are trying to upload a WordPress theme or a plugin to your website from the WordPress admin area.

It’s not theme nor plugin. I see them when I try to edit an existing post, for example. After adding text “test.” (only for letters, which are not large at all)

My current maximum upload file size: 128 MB.

I don’t think this is an issue, I don’t want to increase it. (It feels way too big to me …)

Is this the only solution I have? I am not sure if the fact that my WP dashboard no longer shows update and I frequently have “link I followed is expired” error are related….

    Thanks,

All of my pages are still considered “poor” by Google Search Console, so I just wanted to do everything I could. You can close this case now.

Yes, I used to have a backup plugin which I later deleted because my hosting service backups data on a regular basis. So looks like they were created by my old backup plugin? If so it’s probably okay to delete them.

Thank you for the info. I had no idea!

Thanks for your reply. I am not asking about AMP for WP. It’s strictly about your plug-in. I wanted to ask you because I’ve read topics created by people who started having some errors when they switched from transitional mode to standard using your plugin. And the timing when I started having redirect errors seem to coincide with the timing I switched to from transitional to standard. Any thoughts on this?

    >The redirection error is probably showing because you had AMP pages previously but GSC can’t find them so it’s redirecting to non-AMP version of the Page.

I figured I would have redirect errors for the pages with /amp that no longer exist. Plus, I’ve already added scripts on my website so that access to /amp pages will be directed to non-AMP pages.

But instead I am having errors on non-AMP pages. Does it make sense to you?

Of course I have contacted GSC, but you cannot really know if someone will respond…

    Thanks for your help.

In a nutshell, I’ve lost most of my traffic after I installed your plugin. I tried to find out what was happening, and opened a case from your website. Some of the issues were solved, but I couldn’t figure out the root cause of the most pressing issue, which was redirection and indexing errors on Google Search Console (GSC). Your support team kept saying “we are working on it” for about 3 weeks, and then finally said “our plug-in is not causing them.” So there are 3 different issues: 1) I lost like 70% of my traffic since I installed your plugin (I disabled it two days ago, and I am already seeing some recovery. I can demonstrate it both using GSC and Google Analytics) 2) I started having many GSC issues after I installed your plugin. Probably all of them weren’t because of your plug-in, but some of them were. (and your support team fixed them.) 3) For the problems that might not have been because of your product (I have no way of knowing it), your support team kept saying “we are working on it” for weeks, giving me impressions that they knew what the problems were and they were working on them. During that time, my traffic became almost non-existent. I did not want to waste time to wreak such havoc.

I’ve already disabled your plugin and extensions. I am not using them anymore. I believe that just 1) would be enough to justify my request to return your products. All I ask is to refund the money I spent for extensions. Ever since I asked for refund, your support team stopped replying to me.

Thanks for your understanding. It was really painful to see such a sharp traffic drop after I added your plug-in. I now have to figure out how to recover from the damage.

    Thank you Elena!

I disabled optimizations from the theme, and most problems were resolved. I will close this case.

More specifically, I wanted to know if I will have more redirect errors when I disable AMP for WP, when I already and currently have those errors with the plug-in installed and activated. Thank you!

When accessed from desktop, full slider at the top is not displayed, and you cannot see images unless you click them. With mobile, full slider is now displaying, but the images are super small. I just wanted them to display when you load the page. “Expected output” is just display like normal.

And I have more serious issue…I get error message from Google Search Console: Structured data with syntax errors detected>invalid top element boolean. When I check details it looks like amp-auto-lightbox is causing a problem. This may be a lingering issue from AMP plug-in I was using before I switched to yours.

Also, I get redirect error from Google. Then lastly, I disabled cloudflare because your plug-in says it cannot be used along with it. Is that true?

    Thank you,

    1) For Transitional mode, it looks like the Page Preloading option under Enfold > Theme Options is involved (screenshot). Once toggled off, the AMP page renders. Feel fee to try this on your site to see if the AMP version displays.

This doesn’t work for me. It shows header, like when with Reader mode. It’s better than no response, but not content. I tried to delete cache but the same result.

    2) With Reader mode, I cannot create pages using default editor…

So here’s my question, If other peoples phones are like yours, and can retrieve contents like yours, I can buy some time to ask Enfold to fix the error.

But if it’s like my phone, I need to leave my site virtually inaccessible until Enfold can find solutions. I would almost disable amp for now so that people can access my pages, but it’s not a good idea to disable amp pages now that Google indexed them right? Would it confuse Google bots?
    What’s your opinion?

Thank you for working on my case. I appreciate it!

With reader mode, it shows the tile, the slider I use in the header area, author, date, category and tags. It’s only showing the header area I guess? There’s no link to the actual content. Thanks! If you can test, the reader mode is on right now.
