Just to let you know that I’ve given up trying to fix this problem and I’ve reverted to using version 1.5, which works perfectly. Version 2.0’s backend did look and feel better, but I’m not willing to invest countless hours trying to repair something that wasn’t broken.

There isn’t a problem with my comment-function.php file. There must be a problem with my code on index.php… but I can’t see what it is. Strange that it worked perfectly with 1.5 but not with 2.0.

Any ideas?

now that i have this problem resolved, do you think that i should still invest some time into upgrading? is it really worth it?

I realise this, but I’ve got quite a few plug-ins that I’m not sure will work…. if you think this may help then I’ll upgrade my local copy and see if it works – if its successful i’ll then upload it.

Any other ideas?

I’m having serious problems with the prev and next navigation (in that it doesnt work). Is this a exhibit problem then… and can I now rest in my quest? This has been driving me nuts for ages!

Please have a look at the site before you try and solve the problem… on the left had side (sidebar.php) I’ve got a Navigation list, with obviously previous and next links.

These links work perfectly whilst on the homepage and subsequent preview pages (…/index.php?paged=2 … /index.php?paged=3 ect) but when anyone clicks on the post to view more (…/index.php?p=62 etc), these navigation links disappear….

Can anyone please tell me why and more importantly how I can fix them. I’m sure there’s a very basic solution to this, but I can’t seem to find it.

the access key allows you to select that button with a keyboard shortcut. e.g. Home is ALT+1, Archives is ALT+2… and so on. Its really an accessibility thing.

the template system is only on 1.3

Are you still offering support for the exhibit plug-in?
It’s just that I’ve emailed you twice and posted numerous times on these forums… with no feedback.
I’m not having a dig at you, as I’m sure you’ve got a life to lead and don’t want to waste too much of it answering questions.

Is it possible to able to click on a photo and get an enlarged version of the same pic, but within another template (not within the index.php).
I’m using exhibit at the moment and this doesn’t do the job, all it can offer is a javascript pop-up and this is far from ideal.
I’m almost thinking of leaving wordpress and opting for movable type, only for the reason that I’ve seen what I’m asking for done with that. I really dont want to leave wordpress…

any help desperatly needed… i’m feeling very low and frustrated with this. It’s effecting my mood ??

Is it possible to do this using exhibit?
At the moment I’m using exhibit with the pop-up option and this is far from ideal… in fact for my last 5 or 6 posts I’ve opted out of using this great plug-in, which is a great shame.
Surely one could edit the pop-up source or somin (and stop it from poping up) but I’m no coder, so I don’t know where to begin.
If this isnt possible with exhibit, are there any other image posting plug-ins i could use which would give me this type of functionality.
