I’m confused I guess. The product post-type filter works fine on the front end but I’ve also enabled the Selective Admin Plugin Loading option – the description for which indicates that this filter should also work when I’m editing a product. It doesn’t. In my case the two plugins that are disabled for the product post-type are disabled (as they should be) on the front end but not disabled on the back end.
When you’re editing a product the URL is something like this:
https://www.mywebsite.com/wp-admin/post.php?post=44485&action=edit
No matter what I do, I can’t disable the two plugins in question IN THE ADMIN SECTION unless I disable them globally or disable them for a specific URL which isn’t reasonable with hundreds of products.
I have no filters at all right now except the product post-type filter to ensure that there’s no conflict happening.
Sorry I’m not getting this. I’m sure there must be a simple solution but it eludes me.
Here’s my configuration:
Fuzzy URL matching is enabled.
URL Protocol will be ignored. https:// will be treated the same as https://
URL Arguments will NOT be ignored. https://www.poparrots.com?test=test will NOT be treated the same as https://www.poparrots.com
Any admin will be able to change the plugin load order.
Trailing slashes will NOT automatically be removed or added.
Post types saved.
Enabled roles saved.
Selective Plugin Loading is enabled.
Selective Mobile Plugin loading is disabled.
Selective Admin Plugin Loading is enabled.
Disable Plugins By Role is disabled.I’m afraid I might not have been clear enough in my question so I let me add this: I know there’s a “product” post type and “post” post type, but in the back end (the admin editing area) products are posts, just like blog posts are posts. Since (as I understand it) we can’t use wildcard characters in our permalinks, I can’t find any way to create a filter than can tell when I’m editing one or the other. I hope that clears up any confusion my first question may have caused.

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Settings Won’t SaveSorry Jeff, I lost track of this somewhere along the way. Yes, my choices are saved in the wp_options table, however when I go back to view the settings (with or without caching on, and even when I use Chrome in incognito mode) they appear the way they did before I made any changes. Additionally, none of the filters I create have any effect on my pages and posts. The CSS and javascript from the supposedly blocked plugins still loads.
Here’s the information you asked for:

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Settings Won’t SaveThanks Jeff. I spoke too soon. I disabled all caching and tried changing some of my settings. Neither the main settings page or the global settings will save, no matter what I do. The Plugin Filters *DO* save though. I haven’t had any use for the other pages yet. I’m not seeing any errors in my error logs or when inspecting either of the pages. They’re just not working for me. Any suggestions?

In reply to: [Plugin Organizer] Settings Won’t SaveUPDATE: I checked wp_options and see that the values are correct in the database, however they’re not rendering correctly on the settings page. I’m going to try creating a filter for the settings page and see if there’s a conflict causing this.

In reply to: [Offers for WooCommerce] Button Not Visible on All ProductsThat’s correct. Most of my items are auctions without Buy-It-Now prices (enabled by using the WooCommerce Simple Auctions plugin). They all have opening bids and bid increments set however. Apparently this plugin will only work if the Buy-It-Now price is set too and we don’t always want to do that. Now that I understand what’s causing it, it isn’t a problem anymore, although I think allowing offers on auction-only items would be a good enhancement in future versions.

In reply to: [Offers for WooCommerce] Button Not Visible on All ProductsYou’re right. Buy it Now must (apparently) be enabled. I didn’t see that in the documentation. Is there some way to allow offers on items without Buy It Now enabled? Thanks!
