In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Specify a cache validator (gtmetrix)No need to be sorry. I’m grateful for your plugin.
These 2 sections of htaccess contain ico and ICO:
<FilesMatch "\.(asf|asx|wax|wmv|wmx|avi|bmp|class|divx|doc|docx|eot|exe|gif|gz|gzip|ico|jpg|jpeg|jpe|webp|json|mdb|mid|midi|mov|qt|mp3|m4a|mp4|m4v|mpeg|mpg|mpe|webm|mpp|otf|_otf|odb|odc|odf|odg|odp|ods|odt|ogg|pdf|png|pot|pps|ppt|pptx|ra|ram|svg|svgz|swf|tar|tif|tiff|ttf|ttc|_ttf|wav|wma|wri|woff|woff2|xla|xls|xlsx|xlt|xlw|zip|ASF|ASX|WAX|WMV|WMX|AVI|BMP|CLASS|DIVX|DOC|DOCX|EOT|EXE|GIF|GZ|GZIP|ICO|JPG|JPEG|JPE|WEBP|JSON|MDB|MID|MIDI|MOV|QT|MP3|M4A|MP4|M4V|MPEG|MPG|MPE|WEBM|MPP|OTF|_OTF|ODB|ODC|ODF|ODG|ODP|ODS|ODT|OGG|PDF|PNG|POT|PPS|PPT|PPTX|RA|RAM|SVG|SVGZ|SWF|TAR|TIF|TIFF|TTF|TTC|_TTF|WAV|WMA|WRI|WOFF|WOFF2|XLA|XLS|XLSX|XLT|XLW|ZIP)$"> FileETag MTime Size <IfModule mod_headers.c> Header unset Set-Cookie Header set X-Powered-By "W3 Total Cache/0.13.1" </IfModule> </FilesMatch> <FilesMatch "\.(bmp|class|doc|docx|eot|exe|ico|json|mdb|webm|mpp|otf|_otf|odb|odc|odf|odg|odp|ods|odt|ogg|pdf|pot|pps|ppt|pptx|svg|svgz|swf|tif|tiff|ttf|ttc|_ttf|wav|wri|woff|woff2|xla|xls|xlsx|xlt|xlw|BMP|CLASS|DOC|DOCX|EOT|EXE|ICO|JSON|MDB|WEBM|MPP|OTF|_OTF|ODB|ODC|ODF|ODG|ODP|ODS|ODT|OGG|PDF|POT|PPS|PPT|PPTX|SVG|SVGZ|SWF|TIF|TIFF|TTF|TTC|_TTF|WAV|WRI|WOFF|WOFF2|XLA|XLS|XLSX|XLT|XLW)$"> FileETag None <IfModule mod_headers.c> Header unset ETag Header unset Last-Modified </IfModule> </FilesMatch>
If we remove both instances of ico & ICO, the GTmetrix warning will disappear.
However, I’m not sure if this is ideal for everyone, or just me.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Age Gate Lite] amp compatibilityThanks SiD,
I updated Age Gate Lite, but the pop-up still doesn’t appear on my AMP pages. Are you using it with a specific AMP plugin? I can switch to the one you’re using if you tell me what it’s called.
I’m using “Better AMP” but I don’t mind switching to something else.

In reply to: get_avatar_url() with httpsI didn’t see that coming.
Thank you!

In reply to: [Age Gate Lite] amp compatibilityYou can see one of my amp pages in action at this url:
Warning: It’s NSFW
linkI’m using “Better AMP – WordPress Complete AMP”
Without the ?amp parameter, the popup will work fine (normal non-amp page)
But on the amp page (with ?amp parameter) the popup just won’t display.
I think this is due to an AMP limitation; it prohibits many JS functions. As far as I can tell, there’s only 1 popup plugin that works with AMP (this-plugin) but I’ve been avoiding it because it’s $39, and there’s no guarantee that it will work smoothly like Age Gate Lite.
So, no pressure! It might be a difficult thing to work into your plugin. If you do it, cool, if not, I still appreciate your lite but functional plugin.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Agy - Age verification for WooCommerce] PHP Fatal error after new updateThanks plugin people! No more fatal error!
But now it’s not firing. I set it for unregistered users only, no pop-up. I set it for all users, no pop-up. I also tried adjusting the # of days to 0, and 30, but it just won’t pop-up.

In reply to: [Agy - Age verification for WooCommerce] PHP Fatal error after new updateHello,
Yes, the issue remains with 4.1.2
I tried Agy with other plugins uninstalled (including W3TC) but no luck. I will drop a new message when/if I locate my error log.
@natalia – Do you have an error log that you can share?

In reply to: [Agy - Age verification for WooCommerce] PHP Fatal error after new updateThis plugin is excellent, and I like it a lot, but that problem persists for me even with 4.1.1
I’ve cleared all caches, uninstalled the plugin, re-installed, but it still persists.
Unfortunately, I can’t find my php error log at the moment so I apologize if this is a me-thing ??
I don’t use WooCommerce – maybe that’s why?

In reply to: [ShiftNav - Responsive Mobile Menu] wp_nav_menu_itemsI should have tried a few more things before posting that.
But in case anyone else arrives here, just set the theme location to shiftnav
Thanks Shiftnav people. This plugin rocks.
2.2.3 fixed it. Thanks!

I apologize, the plugin that is working (logging user in without a caching issue) is called “Auto Login Links.”
I didn’t conscientiously do anything to make it work on my setup.
Temporary Login with Password and “WP Auto Login” are the 2 plugins that have the caching issue in common (for me.)
Update:
I understand that this issue may be due to my own configuration of different things, and not necessarily due to the plugin.
..but for anyone else arriving here, here’s what I’ve figured out:
There are 2 other plugins similar to this one: “Autologin Links” and “WP Auto Login.”With “WP Auto Login,” I experience the same caching problem as I do with Temporary Login Without Password.”
With “WP Auto Login,” the caching problem is gone, so for now I’m sticking with that plugin.
But if it weren’t for the caching issue, Temporary Login Without Password would be a better choice because it has much more configuration options than the other 2.
Yes I use W3 Total Cache, but I disabled it and the same issue persists.
