In reply to: [PowerPress Podcasting plugin by Blubrry] Feed Not ValidatingThanks. I rebuilt the category last night and re-added it and it seemed to do the trick. Still not sure what the problem had been, but happy it works.

In reply to: [Lazy Load XT] Image Loading in a Masonry Tiled GalleryI decided to abandon that theme, it just lacked what I needed. So I will not be able to follow up on the screenshots.
Thanks foe getting back to me.

In reply to: Add New Role where I can Choose User as an Author but is otherwise a SubscriberThanks for the response. I thought it would be that easy as well and I added a new role to the site, basically a copy of what Subscribers can do. But members of this new role do not appear in the dropdown. I think it has something to do with User Levels still being used somewhere.
My workaround has been to replace the author box with a custom one I call in my functions that gets the various users from the the groups and pops them in the dropdown. It just seems messy and I thought something like you suggest must be just out of my reach.

In reply to: What Capability Allows the Admin to edit the author of a post? Thanks for the suggestion. I have been playing with a few of the plugins. What I cannot seem to figure out and maybe it is not possible is whether the ability to change the author on a post is a capability that can be assigned by itself.
I have not yet found a plugin that does that (or does it in a way I can understand). Do you happen to know if it is even possible?

In reply to: Can I turn off registration for just 1 blog in my network?Yes I had looked at that subpanel page, but didn’t see anything about Registration there.

In reply to: Can you Share Users Between Multi Sites?Should add to that by adding:
I went into the edit site of my 1st site and my 2nd site and saw that Users Can Register was set to 0 on both of them. Yet I could register on the site still. Is their an option to turn off registration for any network sites while allowing people to register as users only on the main site?

In reply to: Can you Share Users Between Multi Sites?Alright so I got it all running and I allowed people to register on the main site. And that seemed to also let them stay logged in on a 2nd network site.
Am I seeing this right? This seems to be what I want.
