Thank you both for your reponses. I finally had a chance to try your suggestions. I ended up pasting .entry-title {display: none;} in the stylesheet (style.css) and it worked.

I do need to create my Child Themes. I started to do it some time ago, but never got it completed.

I’m sorry I left out the link. I thought I put it in the original post, but obviously not. I’m using theme 2011. The web address is https://www.napagop.org. Thank you for the link to the csscreator forum. I will go there and have a look to see if there is an answer there. But if you have any insight into this problem, please feel free to let me know how I can correct it.

I believe the space is there because I did not get rid of the text. I only concealed it by making it white, but could not find where I could tell the program to remove it totally.

Thank you ever so much. I ran the clear recent history and got an error message about a chrome/browser/etc .js script that was busy, I clicked continue and got the same message. This time I clicked stop script and it finished. I reloaded the page and all is well.

I get very frustrated with this program. This all started when I tried to install the Google Document Embedder plugin. I had totally removed that plugin before I found the problem and I will not try to use it again.

Gee, I feel very important that I asked about something that will generate a future update. I’m sure that we can live with the signup the way it is now, but please let me know if you do this update.

Thank you ever so much. “It works!” I have not had a chance to install the widget function, but I’m sure it will be great. But, I still have one more question. I do want to use the short form as a straight “Join Us” with just name and e-mail, but I want to use the other functions for a “Contact Us” for comments or questions that will give us their mailing address and a couple of other questions for demographic purposes. How do I get the long version of the form? Do I just use the [pdb_record] and leave out the signup short code? I know you figured out right from the get-go, I am less than an amateur and I appreciate your patience and your help.

Thank you for your reply. I finally put some of the pieces together after clicking on the Participants Database. I like the default? fields. I put [pdb_record] [pdb_signup] in the html view of the Contact Us page. Is this correct or am I suppose to copy and paste code from a file? Is it possible to put the Join Us button in a widget in the right sidebar?
