Steve, I checked the testimonials — they do not open in a new window. It stays in the same window … regardless if you click a link or Next / Previous. Is this a bug?

P.S. Thinking it over — I think it’s smart to evaluate the whole page not just the post. That way if you add new components on your page, you know if something needs fixing.

That makes so much sense … I have mixed feelings about the whole page vs. just the post / page. You’re not seeing the entire page when working on the post / page in WordPress or another CMS. But I know you need some way to view problems because most of the time you can’t see the whole page in a CMS. And there is no need for H2 in short posts. Not good. Comments as H3 is WP default — I haven’t touched it. Wonder if it needs to be H2?

Thank you! I should’ve thought to deactivate plugins as that’s SOP for when you run into problems. It was HIDE POST doing it — even though the post was not hidden.

Which is weird because it has not been updated in a year. Maybe a new version of WP broke it. Thanks again!

I fixed it by copying 2014 theme into the Dead Silent theme while retaining the top portion of Dead Silent. Theme works well for our purposes. The others don’t feel the style or require a lot of tweaking to fix. Hence the reason we prefer to stick with an older theme.
