Thank you, yes I have cleared the cache in my safari browser, and I did log in, using firefox and it still didn’t work there either. I even tried it on a completely different computer in a house a block away… and it didnt work there either.

Its looking like just reinstalling 3.7 is the answer. –

where do you look in cpanel – what folder – is that where i can delete 3.7.1 and perhaps reintall it manually.

Could you please advise where I can go to have this issue resolved…could you recommend an expert in this sort of thing that I can contact to get them to work through this…. and if you cant do that – could you please advise what I would ask an expert to do – so that I can source them and get on with my work.
Im afraid I don’t have the time or the patience to work through all of this…

How do I rename the plugins folder using FTP or Cpanel?

Yes I have had this issue before… and it was not resolved, however the upgrade to3.7 came out and that seemed to fix things. All was good until I upgraded to 3.7.1…

your detailed help and instructions is muchly appreciated

This has not been resolved… I am now having the same issue with 3.7.1. but am closing this thread as I have started elsewhere another thread regarding the recent problem.

@mitcki, thank you for your response… would it be possible to ask how you renamed them – as in where did you find the file and did you just rename it and save it?

Im really excited to have this info from you, as I was just going down the path of learning how to uninstall 3.7.1 and go back to 3.7 and start over… this could save me so so so much time… thanks so much,

is that 3.71 or do you mean 3.7.1 – as I have 3.7.1 installed and my visual editor is still not working…. any tips on how to fix this would be appreciated…

the site seems to work well… its just when I want to add a new page or update any pages that the visual editor.. and the kitchen sink.. do not work..
