OK, so today I realized that I should install the v2 of the REST API plugin, while I though it was available by default.
After I installed the v2, the hooks are running, because now it is available the hook ‘rest_api_init’.
But now and while the routes are registered, the url https://www.my-server.com/wp-json/jwt-auth/v1/token still returns the following message:
[{"code":"rest_no_route","message":"No route was found matching the URL and request method","data":{"status":404}}]
I flushed the rewrite rules both by saving again the permalinks and by using the plugin “Rewrite Rules Inspector”, and the result remains the same.
Any idea for this issue ?
Kind regards
Merianos NikosHello tmeister.
Thansk a lot for your reply.
Yes all of the above and for the third answer yes I am on local LAMP stack.
My local computer runs the following :
PHP Version 5.6.4-4ubuntu6.2
Apache/2.4.10 (Ubuntu)Also, when I print_r the hook the result it’s like that:
Array ( [hook] => rest_api_init [component] => Jwt_Auth_Public Object ( [plugin_name:Jwt_Auth_Public:private] => jwt-auth [version:Jwt_Auth_Public:private] => 1.0.0 [namespace:Jwt_Auth_Public:private] => jwt-auth/v1 [jwt_error:Jwt_Auth_Public:private] => ) [callback] => add_cors_support [priority] => 10 [accepted_args] => 1 )
that seems to be fine, but doesn’t work ??
In advanced, the reason I look inside this function is the result I get in my front end when I access the URL : /wp-json/jwt-auth/v1/token
The result it is the following :
[{"code":"json_no_route","message":"No route was found matching the URL and request method"}]

In reply to: [WP phpBB Bridge] WP phpBB Bridge doesn't workFor a free plugin that does not have a support system, the 50 installations that do not work well and need from me in a couple of hours to solve the issue, is a lot.
It should be noted that when we published the plugin, provided assistance to hundreds of users, and most of the questions were of the type:
q: “It doesn’t work”
a: “Did you aneabled the plugin”
q: “no”
a: “then enable the plugin”in many cases, while providing correct answers and solutions to problems after themselves insulted us.
So, We Do Not provide support anymore in the free version. In the future, we will provide a commercial version of that same plugin. In that case I will assist any member that will pay.
Now in your case, try to remember if previously you used any other plugin for the same purpose, and/or module for the phpBB side.
Also note, that you have to use the same cookie path for WordPress and phpBB

In reply to: [WP phpBB Bridge] Why did you remove the post to phpBB function?Hello Martin.
We kindly thank you for using the plugin. This option has been removed because we have many many users with issues.
That option will come back in the future, either in a new version of that plugin or in a new commercial version.
The way that we will allocate the next version, depends on the time required, to create a new version, that will be stable and work properly with phpBB.
If the development time is short, we will share it free, if the development time is long, we will share it as a commercial plugin.
Kind regards

In reply to: [WP phpBB Bridge] WP phpBB Bridge doesn't workThis plugin has been used by 20,000+ users including us. And those who has problem are very very few (about 20 to 50 people). Something is wrong in your installation.
Hello, msebaid.
There two options for now, in order to get the phpBB Bridge.
The one is to copy the whole folder named wp-phpbb-bridge under the /wp-contents/plugins/ in your wordpress installation.
The second is to downloaded directly from out web site https://www.e-xtnd.it/wp-phpbb-bridge/ that has the latest version (2.0.7).
Even if your theme is too old, if you following the WordPress updates, then you can modify easily your theme in order to allow widgets usage.
Following some tutorials you can follow, in order to register new widget areas in your theme:
