Hi Peter,
I didn’t see your answer yet. Thank you for quick answer!
max_execution_time
is set to 300 and permissions are755
.It seems like we also had some kind of brute force attack so that the server where the customer’s website is hosted was down. I guess this attack was somewhen between June 17th and 27th, because since then the website isn’t sending system emails anymore.
So I’d rather say that there is a security issue on our site and server and the underlying mail server.
Nevertheless I’ll keep your tips in mind. Thank you again! ??

Hey Rogier,
thank you for your support.
I replaced the code in the functions.php with the new one from the Git repository. Unfortunatley it is not working. Do I have to change something else?
Great! I’ve just testet the latest version and it works now. Thank your for your support! ??
Have a nice day, too!
Hi there,
same issue here after update to 2.3.2.
“wp-content/plugins/wp-carousel-free/public/templates/post-carousel.php line 53”
Unfortunatley I can’t leave the page like this so I downgraded the plugin again. Our installed theme is Dentalia.I also switched the theme to check if it’s the theme. The error also showed up.
At the moment I can not open a support ticket (for working reasons) but I have it in mind. What do you mean with “Please update the shortcode again and then check what happens”? I updated the carousel itself but nothing changed.
Thank you! Kind regards
TanjaHi, same problem here. In Firefox the icon stretches over the full main container. On click nothing happens, same in Safari. In Chrome and Safarie the icon doesn’t appear and in the modal window the close button is a square.
Hi @aahulsebos,
sorry for delay. I wasn’t at the office for a few days.
I configured statistics as follows:
– Google Analytics
– Compliance for statistics: yes
– Complianz is allowed to configure statistics for me
– tracking code is validHow can I see If a cookie is sending data as you described above?
“No HTTP response detected
Missing analytics.js script”I tested the settings on my colleagues computer – everything worked fine ?? Statistics and marketing options were activated and deactivated when settings were changed.
Regards
MichaelHey @aahulsebos,
thank you. One last question: When I choose “Alle akzeptieren” (accept all) only the marketing checkbox is activated – statistics not. The consequence is that in Google Analytics I only see that there is a visitor but not where. Maybe there is a misconfiguration?
Regards
MichaelHi @aahulsebos,
thank you for your quick reaction!
Ok, so if I change the preferences no data or information will be sent to Google?Regards

Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Bulk edit posts: forwarded to author’s pageFound the reason:
In my .htaccess there is / was a rule that prevents the “simple reading” of user names when someone types domain.com/blog/?author=X in the address bar. With this rule anyone is redirected to “domain.com/blog/?author=” – 404 error page or 400 bad request error page.
So, at the moment there is a choice between security and comfort ?? Or does anyone had the same issue und fixed it with another htaccess rule which denies reading user names?
Thank you and stay well
Hi there,
I have no solution but I noticed this error after updating WordPressf from 5.0.2 to version 5.4. If you start a google search with “category_link is deprecated since version 2.5.0!” you get many many sites with this error.
The only solution was to downgrade WordPress to another version. It seems that some websites running under WP 5.3.2 have the same issue. I downgraded an affected website to WP 5.3.2 and the error message didn’t appear.
Hope that the community will solve this. I am not a developer but I guess it could be a combination of WP Version and plugins.
Have a nice day together.
