ah ok, i suspect that is related to the browser resolution. Just a little test with res 1263×400 and tadaa 400 height. Thank`s for the explanation.

If you have smart crop on, it should crop the image to the exact dimensions you have set in the slideshow. Is this not happening?

In my case, the size is stretched to 100% as expcted but the height does not follow the setting in MS.

well, have another try with extreme different sizes. My settings:

Pictures in use:
1600×1600
444×640
682×1225

Flexslider,2000×400,Smart Cropping, Stretch 100%, CSS JS On, conflict mode off.

Result 1263×250

But i noticed just another issue: I am testing the slider with some very different pictures in format and size and set the resolution in ms to 1280 x 800 and flexslider. Now my pictures will be cropped all to a static size.

But the height of the images are different from the settings in metaslider. I will get a height of 336px.

If i understand the function of metaslider right, it should cropp pictures of different sizes and resize them?

Can report that the cropping problem is fixed in 3.8.1

Revert to Version 3.7.2 fixed my problem. Thank you for the support.

Thanks for your reply, i just testet the code. But i am not sure how to change it. If i look in firefox-inspector, i could only find class page-numbers not ul.page-numbers.

I testet this some days before with:
var pag_links = jQuery(‘page-numbers’).find(‘a’);
But it does not worked.

Sory must correct myself: In all constellations above there are troubles.

Either paginations works or the search filter. I just noticed that by a test.

i found a part of the solution:

In MDTF if made the following settings:
-Search Result Page: blank
-Output search template:search
That leads me to index.php with template content.php
Pagination does not work.

So i made some more tests:

In MDTF if made the following settings:
-Search Result Page: blank
-Output search template:archive
That leads me to archive.php with template content.php
Pagination does WORK.

In MDTF if made the following settings:
-Search Result Page: blank
-Output search template:archive-test (a testtemplate for my cpt)
That leads me to archive.php with template content.php
Pagination does WORK.
But not the right template.

In MDTF if made the following settings:
-Search Result Page: blank
-Output search template:archive-fsfsf (which does NOT EXISTS)
That leads me to archive.php with template content.php
Pagination does WORK.

In MDTF if made the following settings:
-Search Result Page: blank
-Output search template:fsdedfs (which does NOT EXISTS)
That leads me to archive.php with template content.php
Pagination does WORK.

As you can see, it seems that it does not matter what i am using in MDTF as search template except search.php which does not work.

hab Dir in der Zwischenzeit mal per Kontaktformular die ASINs geschickt.
Gerade ist mir wieder eine Problem ASIN aufgefallen,B01MRB09E4,10 verfügbar, keine Ausgabe.

Was mir auch gerade aufgefallen ist: In Deinen Beispielen mit dem Kaffeevollautomaten werden Sterne & Anzahl der Bewertungen angezeigt. Trotz der Einstellungen im Backend von EAPI unter “Standard” werden mir keine Sterne & Bewertungen angezeigt. Habe es mit [eapi type = standard keyword = “kaffeevollautomat”] und [eapi keyword = “kaffeevollautomat”] versucht.

Good morning Tom,

error solved. It was in fact a problem with a false template.

The site that should output the excerpts was built with siteorigin pagebuilder. Within this site i used the “post loop” widget.

In this widget you can choose the templates (content.php,content-link.php, content-singe.php, content-page.php)

In my case it was content-link.php which leads to this behaviour. Now with “content.php” the headlines leading to the post.

Good Morning Tom,

i read some of your posts about the post formats and i checked out the demo site before i wrote this question here. That`s the reason i am a little bit confused about the behaviour.

And yes, i just checked the the post format: On the right side i have my menu with the 7 format types and it is the first option “STANDARD”. I also created a new test post with the standard format but it shows the same behaviour: A excerpt with a title pointing to the first url.

I can’t find the mistake…
