When you unzip the files, winzip or winrar will create a folder for the files, and then within the folder there will be another folder named the same, this second folder will contain all your files, are you uploading the second folder or the original folder?

Try and upload the second folder and see if this clears your problems, sorry I couldn’t be more help

In the dashboard go to: > SETTINGS > READING

Under “FRONT PAGE DISPLAYS” make sure “Your latest posts” is selected. This might fix your problem ??

PS – I also put in the wp-mail-smtp ?? just as an additional set-up

I’ve just installed WordPress for the first time, excellent tool, I can’t believe I haven’t used it before ?? Anyhow, I’ve been having the same problem receiving e-mails including new user registrations (setting up test accounts for myself) and the solution which worked for me was to create an e-mail: [email protected]

As soon as I set up the e-mail address I’m recieving e-mails ok now ?? Thanks to the original person for the tip ??
