Hello, I’m experiencing this problem as well. I’ve also recently upgraded to 2.8.4. My client’s hosting company (APlusNet) blocks all outgoing connections by default so I have to give them specific IP addresses to allow. Does anyone know which are the common ones?

I tried the following, but I’m still getting the HTTP Error:

wordpress.com: 72.233.2.57 and 74.200.243.254
www.remarpro.com: 72.233.56.138
php.net: 69.147.83.197

Any help would be much appreciated!

I’m also having an issue with twitter tools.

I’m using: WP 2.8.4
With Twitter Tools 2.0

The plugin installed just fine, but it does not log into the twitter account successfully. When I configure the admin and click [Test Login Info] I get the following error:

“Sorry, login failed. Error message from Twitter:”

With no error message returned from twitter. Anyone have any ideas?

I’m also having a problem with the twitter authentication.

I’m using: WordPress 2.7.1 and Twitter Tools: 2.0

The error message I receive when I click test my login is simply: “Sorry, login failed. Error message from Twitter:” with no actual error message returned from twitter.

I’ve tried using a short, 6 character, all lower-case password with no luck. My twitter username is all lower case and 13 characters. Any ideas?
