Found in the mean while, that the “default” format of events lists generated by the “events calendar” plugin itself also strips html tags. But funny enough, the rss feed of the events calendar keeps them. ??
I understand that, stripping html also adds some security to the site. But having links in an event description which do not “pass through” to the overviews (listing etc) is hard to explain to non-computer nerds. So if that could be fixed in your plugin, it would add a lot of usability.
