Haha… it has updated now. I tried clearing my cache when I first started this thread yesterday, but maybe at that time iTunes hadn’t updated it? Either way, I’m glad to see it working now. Thanks for your assistance:)
All the best to you:)
~MeniykaHi Angelo,
Sure thing. I wish I could send attach screenshots, but I will try to explain.
If you look at the store URL in the browser, for example, you can see #9 A Shamanic Journey is saying “From the Vibrational…” next to the title. I have updated this to say: Conversation with Practitioner Ashley Tomasino in the *iTunes subtitle field. I’m assuming this is the field that feeds the ‘description’ next to the title of the podcast in the store URL because that was where I found the matching incorrect information. Maybe I’m not updating the correct field?
Thanks so much,
~MeniykaThanks for your help. It tuned out to be the byte range request/http heading stuff that iTunes originally told me was likely the problem. I changed from wordpress hosting to cpanel and the problem is solved. Hopefully this helps someone else:)
Hi,
Thanks so much for the response. I had my developer disable the catching of CloudFlare and there is no change as far as I can tell so far. Maybe he has to completely remove it? I also checked for the VBR in mp3 and I’m not enabling that so it is not that.
I did discover something interesting though. It’s a problem with the way the file is being played back and read on the server. Because when I download the file from the server/webpage- it’s fully in tact and plays correctly, but when I stream it in the media library or from my web page with the wordpress audio playe- it cuts off about a minute of the file. The ID3 tags are correct and so is all the meta data associated with the file in the media library, but again when I try to play it from the server without downloading it- it is ‘read’ as a minute less than it really is. This is the story with nearly all of my podcasts as far as I can tell.
Any ideas? I’m at a loss:(
