In reply to: [GeneratePress] Problems with navigationHi Tom,
Thanks for your answer.
1. I already thought, that a CSS will be the only solution. But Im using a localhost (WAMP). So unfortunately I can’t link to the page. I was not sure, if someone already uses GP and probably has the same problem.
2. Perfect! Thanks. The Click – Arrow option is what I needed.
3. So with the “Click – Arrow” option I can click on a parent item and the page opens. But the menustructure closes/”collapses” at the same time. Is there a way to keep the menu opened, so I still see the menustructure with all the submenus?

In reply to: Themes with well structured menusAt the moment I use the free GeneratePress theme. Its possible to create a vertical menu with it, but its not well structured (no indentation aso.). Then I installed the free Max Mega Menu plugin to personalize the navigation, but MMM only allows vertical navigation in the pro version.
But thanks for your info. I’ll try one of the other plugins.

In reply to: [Max Mega Menu] Max Mega Menu – define width of 1 level menuHi Tom,
I’m not able to spend money on this project (I mean: not a single dollar). That’s why I use a local host (WAMP Server), which of course is free, the free version of GeneratePress, the free version of Elementor and the free version of the Max Mega Menu. And therefore – unfortunately – I can’t afford to hire a freelancer to help me either.
But thanks for your information. Now it is clear, that it wasn’t my fault, that I couldn’t expand the background color to the full width of the item, but that it simply isn’t possible to realize that with the free version. That safes me time, so I don’t continue looking for a solution.
Off-topic: I can’t believe that there are hundreds and thousands of highly customizable and free themes/plugins available, that offer horizontal menus, but truly none, that gives me the possibility to use a simple vertical navigation.
Regards
Bianka
