In reply to: [Gutenberg] Adding ul list bullet points to Block of text using CSSThanks, James. Pasting in the Ascii code worked, and although it still doesn’t indent, it looks better than the dashes.
The problems I’m having are due to issues with the Google Fonts block, which I’m using for my text.

That block isn’t allowing me to paste in any code in the HTML view, and
If I use the List block instead, I’m not able to get the fonts matching, because I don’t have a font selection option in the List block.I’m sure there are solutions that I could use, but I’m not that familiar with either CSS, Gutenberg, or WordPress to resolve them.
Based on this article and others I’ve read …
LINK… it appears I should be able to add CSS something like the following to “Customized > Advanced CSS”:
p.bullitt { list-style-type: square; }
From there, enter ‘bullitt’ into the Advanced CSS field of the Google Fonts block with the text I want listed, and it should apply the CSS from the Customize area.
That would seem the easiest, without me getting into areas of WordPress I’m not too familiar with.
Thx for any additional input.

In reply to: [Gutenberg] Adding ul list bullet points to Block of text using CSSJames
Thank you very much. I’m still running into an issue though. I think because the type block I’m using, Google Fonts, isn’t working properly with HTML text, I have to add whatever CSS class information I need to the Customize > Additional CSS text field.
Then I can add the CSS Class to the Advanced > Additional CSS class field in the Google Fonts block.
Would you be able to tell me how to enter that code into the Customize > Additional CSS field?
thank you
DougExcellent. Thx!
Thanks, Elvis, but I’m not WP Backery Page Builder. No worries, though, as Blaise helped me sort it out via email.
Thanks, Elvis.
My default settings (FooBox > Advanced Settings) are to include FooBox, and Document settings for that page confirm that, as the ‘exclude’ box isn’t checked.
OK, great, thanks for clarifying.
Why is it that when I create a new Google Fonts block in Gutenberg, the ‘Font’ setting defaults to ‘- Custom -‘ instead of ‘- Default -‘?
And where is that ‘Custom’ font selection designated?
thanks
dougThanks, @dannycooper
If I choose a font, then it changes visualy, but that defeats the point of using Google Fonts on a global basis, doesn’t it?
My assumption is that if I set a given Google Fonts block text paramter, like say “h2”, to ‘Default’ and then change the master font setting for h2 in Google Fonts in Customize, all Google Fonts block instances of h2 set to Default should change with changes in the Customize setting.
Isn’t that how it should work? Because that’s not working for me.
@dannycooper How are you adding a link in Google Fonts?
Per my photo above, I’m not seeing any options for adding a link to text in Google Fonts. If I use a standard Paragraph, I have a link icon I can click to convert any select text to a link/mailto.
Thanks. Appreciate the link fix.
Here’s the screen shot of my font block settings.

Thanks, Danny. I didn’t pose my question quite right. More accurately, where are you finding the option to add a link to the text?
Here’s what I see when I select text in a Google Fonts block that I’m wanting to add the link to:

UPDATE
Re: the gray horizontal Advanced Columns on this page:
https://dougschumacher.com/b2b-saas-software/I’ve figured out how to center the block shape the image sets in, but am unable to center the image either vertically or horizontally now within that cell.
All the images in each instance go to the upper right.
Any input greatly appreciated.
Yes, thanks @corinneolson. Appreciate you confirming I can remove that plugin.
Thanks, Mike.
That’s really slick. Using this all over my site.
One question I have is, While I’ve centered the columns vertically, and locked the padding at 24p for the entire Advanced Columns block, the contents are still aligned towards the top of the block.
For reference, it’s the two gray background sections on this page.
/product-services/Anything I might be overlooking?
thanks
