an additional issue: installing the action scheduler plugin also crashes the site and produces similar errors.

after repeated trials, I have found I have the same action scheduler issue that so many people are having. really not looking forward to the manual work to correct these issues. as far as I am concerned, it’s pretty lame to see that this has been an issue for so long, over 2 months, and it has not been corrected.
I also had problems updating the plugin, and had to revert twice to a backup. I am currently running it not-updated.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] index.js.min not loading on woo dashboardI updated woocommerce and woocommerce services. the hosting provider (siteground) has only a single response whenever I ask a question about a wordpress issue, and that is that there is no problem on the server and it must be a plugin issue.
I recently performed these updates and they did work. I am getting slow performance on woo dashboard and reports pages, but that may not be related. it just started happening after the updates.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce analytics not loadingI know it’s closed but I am having this issue too, no fatal errors, and 524 errors on index.min.js from woo dash.
Checking in on this @frosso1

@frosso1 how soon can we expect an update to this? I need to install additional plugins but have been waiting for this issue to be repaired before adding functionality to woocommerce?
Also, boy is siteground defensive about this issue. They simply can’t accept that this is related to their hosting environment and the ~/rar issue, and are fully blaming users for not being smart enough to figure this problem out without “a real developer”
I have just heard back from the host, they are claiming that the issue is coming from this security rule placed in .htaccess, most likely by wordfence.
#RedirectMatch 403 (?i)(~|`|<|>|:|;|,|%|\\|\s|\{|\}|\[|\]|\|)
the line was commented out, and now using a ~ in a url results in the wordpress 404 page, instead of the 403 error. this is a step in the right direction. Unfortunately, now i need to figure out if this affects wordfence security, how to keep it from happening again etc. AND still need to see if the plugins can be updated without failure.

yes, @frosso1 – using a tilde in a url as you showed does in fact produce a 404 forbidden error. (this is siteground hosting, BTW)
OK, I have done a fair amount of investigation, and testing individual plugins and updates and I am in a new position.
I have updated everything to the most current versions, eliminated any caching, eliminated a issue with the theme’s functions.php file, and confirmed that I can update everything to the most current version without crashing the site.
BUT if EVERYTHING is up to date, woo commerce and woo commerce services will not play nicely. there are no options to print labels or track labels on the order pages.
If I rollback the woocommerce plugin to 4.3.3 and the wooservices plugin to 1.23.2, they functional normally. If I update either of them past that point, the shipping labels functionality breaks for me, and gives the same ” Section failed to load, check the status page for troubleshooting “ error.
If I disable everything, use a base theme and only use woocommerce, jetpack and woocommerce services, I still can not update past that point.
I have seen other threads here where people get some similar or related errors, and rolling back to 4.3.3 fixes it for them. I think there is a strong chance that there is some sort of conflict with woocommerce 4.4 and woo services 1.24.
How can we resolve this? I really want to be able to keep my site up to date, and am hoping to add some new functionality soon, so I need it up to date.
following.
I currently have v 2.1.12 installed.
I have tried flushing all of the caches, and also disabling all caching, and still had no luck. The dashboard and customer pages still load blank with chunk errors even in an incognito window. The hosting company is insisting there is nothing wrong with the server or caching system even though some of these problems started occuring after a restore.
this is where I am stuck, in terms of updates. https://snipboard.io/gYnbLw.jpg
I can update anything but the 3 core ones: woocommerce, woocommerce services, jetpack… if i update any of those, the shipping label system breaks. I am scared of losing my ability to print USPS labels, and was invited into the UPS beta so I really want to get this working and updated.
