Thank you. I do not have WooCommerce enabled for regular “Pages” not realizing the search results fall into that category. I re-enabled WooCommerce for search results and all is well again.

Still having this same trouble. I have always used the current version which now is 1.7.72

The error message is: ServiceWorker registration failed: TypeError: ServiceWorker script at https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/pwa-sw.js for scope https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/ threw an exception during script evaluation.

Why is that a rule? I’ve shipped an item before from USPS weighing over 70 pounds… How does a customer purchase an item weighing 70 pounds then if there is no shipping method?

Someone again tried to purchase my set of encylopedias but was not able to because of the weight. The error log says:

When the problem occurred on my website (which was sitemap URLs and brand URL links no longer working) I deactivated and then reactivated each plugin one by one. It was only when Duplicate Page Plugin was deactivated that the sitemap URLs were no longer giving a 404 and the brand links were no longer giving a 404. I triple checked everything and every time the solution was deactivating the Duplicate Page Plugin.

I just noticed that because the Shop page was messed up, the product search results are also messed up. Therefore, I changed the WooCommerce Shop Page in settings to https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/search-results (instead of https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/announcements). I am anxious to get these issues resolved and have my store’s website back to normal. I appreciate your assistance and look forward to your reply soon.

I found the conflict. It was the Duplicate Page Plugin. All is well with Perfect WooCommerce Brands.

I OF COURSE have always had Updraft installed and make backups nightly. However, your plugin changed my htaccess file and then crashed my website giving me a 403 Forbidden screen so I was not able to access the admin dashboard in order to restore an Updraft backup easily. Luckily, before restoring my website to its previous state, I did save a copy of your plugin’s htaccess code then used an htaccess code checker and it found fatal error in your plugin’s code. I have been using WordPress for six years and I have never had such a problem with any other plugin. I did not want to reach out for help from the plugin support because I no longer trusted it and I wanted nothing to do with it. My review is not about you as a person, it is about the major difficulty I encountered to let other users know what to look out for. Reviews are there to help other users and they should know what happened. I’m happy for you if you have corrected the problem. Good luck.

Hello. I am not limiting the number of subcategories displayed. Each Top Category only has a few subcategories. Rather than screenshots, just see for yourself by visiting my website. Sticking to my initial example, please visit my Top category of Toys & Games at https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/product-category/toys-and-games/ . There you can see its subcategories. Toys & Games has a total of six (6) subcategories. There is no need for a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. page because all six subcategories fit on the one page.

If you click on a subcategory, let’s say “Collectible Toy Vehicles” as an example at  https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/product-category/toys-and-games/collectible-toy-vehicles/ , you will then see all of the products for that subcategory (total of 154) which does require paginated pages.

There is a specific reason the products are divided that way. There are many different types of products that fall under the Google Taxonomy Category of “Toys & Games” which is why they are further broken down into subcategories which then displays the specific products.

When a buyer is looking for Hot Wheels, they don’t want to browse through a bunch of dolls and bobbleheads. They want to only browse through the Toy Vehicles. Therefore, it does not produce a good user experience to have all of the products for every subcategory grouped together under a Toys & Games paginated page that shouldn’t even exist like https://collectiblesandmoreinstore.com/product-category/toys-and-games/page/2/

My SEO plugin is set to not index additional category pages (or search pages). I have not modified the WooCommerce template in any way. I have disabled each plugin one by one but they are not causing the issue.

I have my Woocommerce store set to display only subcategories on my top product categories and to display products on my subcategories. The problem I am referring to above is with my top product categories. My top product categories only have a minimum of two subcategories and a maximum of eight subcategories which take up less than one page which is why there should not be any paginated pages for my top product categories.
