Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Upgraded to 292 and now Error 500I have tried deactivating the plugins via mysql and this didn’t do anything either. So I decided to re installed my back up versions of wordpress and databases and I can see the website but I am still unable to access the dashboard or even sign into it.
I also tried deleting the .htaccess file but this didn’t do anything either. so I reinstalled the file from back up.
Ideas ???????????
Melanie

In reply to: Dashboard Not Displaying ProperlyI have just resolved this from another posting:
“I solved the problem for dashboard not using/finding CSS setting permissions for load-styles.php (in wp-admin directory) to 0755.
I solved the problem for managing/moving widgets setting permissions for widgets.dev.js (in wp-admin/js directory) to 0755.”
Hope this helps you too.

In reply to: Dashboard Not Displaying ProperlyHi Everyone,
I too have the same problem – I am very new to wordpress and have just installed the most recent version and have installed no plugins except the theme Atahualpa all appears to be working, except the dashboard layout.
I looked at the wp-admin.css file which is installed – would it be anything to do with file permissions ???
