Interesting. This issue was resolved by version 1.4.

Where are you unable to uncheck the comments checkbox ? In the settings page, or the new/edit source feed page ?

If anyone experiences this, kindly check your limits in the General Settings page for the plugin. There seems to be an issue when setting it to zero.

The plugin says that setting the limit to zero should result in an infinite limit, but sometimes it may not import any feeds at all. We are looking into this issue and should be fixed in the next version.

Also note that with the Feed to Post, the regular feed items imported with WP RSS Aggregator are disabled to avoid confusion.

Are you enabling WP RSS Aggregator alone, or do you have any of the premium add-ons enabled as well ?

It might seem that some JavaScript is not running or is encountering an error. What WordPress version and web browser are you using ?

Have you tried refreshing your permalinks ?
WordPress admin > Settings > Permalinks, and click Save Changes.

Let us know if that works. That usually solves things. If not, we’ll have a closer look at what might be going on.

If your issue is about validating the RSS feed generated by your site, then I’m afraid we can’t help you. Our plugin has nothing to do with the main WordPress RSS feed.

Also, the link you provided appears to be point to a page that doesn’t exist anymore.

Are you using the Excerpts & Thumbnails add-on ?

WP RSS Aggregator alone does not import thumbnails. That add-on extends the plugin, allowing it to grab thumbnails and short excerpts from feeds.

Both Flickr feeds and YouTube feeds are known to work well with Excerpts & Thumbnails.
