As with most all plugins, please run the following check:

1) fresh install of WP
2) the supported version is up to 5.5 at the moment
3) install WooCommerce and Charter Boat Bookings and uninstall any other plugins.

When I run that check, we are having no problems. I am marking this ticket as closed.

@impactfulmedia I had to dig into the code to remember what I was thinking;) . I put it in there twice because I figured some people like tabs, others really hate the Woo Tabs.

I commented out the “book Now” tab on your install. So, with that said, if you want it back again,
– src/public/woo-single-product-booking-display.php
– line 85 should be uncommented out to show that book now tab again.
– I did that for you within the plugin editor for this install.

If you are going to leave it with that tab hidden, then you definitely want to add a little padding or margin above that product calendar on the single product page in desktop view. I did that for you within the customizer really quick…you are gonna want to sure up that css to make sure it is working for you the way you want and not affecting mobile and tablet in an unexpected way.

Listen, I’ve started offering the CBB Pro as a SAAS only so I can do the other things that fisherman and captains really need to manage business like sms magic login links and other features which have a variable cost to me.

Honestly, we highly recommend that and it comes with CBB Pro for no additional cost. This is a surfaced bug (sort of) definitely an improvement and I shall work on this as soon as possible as a priority.

…you really should be using your post name and page titles in your URLs for best SEO results.

and…my code really should support either choice you make in permalinks.

So the best solution I can reccomend is for me to improve my code and for you to choose to change your permalink settings.
To change your permalink settings:
1. in your WordPress dashboard, navigate to settings -> permalinks
2. then choose the option postname
3. Go to your pages and ensure that the permalink for your WooCommerce cart page is https://tightlines.fishing/cart/

From my side, I will get into this improvement straight away to support whichever permalink structure chosen, but I do have a few other tickets going and I cannot guarantee this will be today as it is a holiday in US also.

Note that sometimes you have to save this setting twice just to “flush” permalinks and make sure the effect takes fully place.

There is an error thrown at includes/mail line 135 – which I guess is just the wp_mail(…, …, …, ) call. Here is the error that I have from debugging:

Could not instantiate mail function.

The error is not all that specific which is why it took me a few hours to track down exactly how to solve the problem. My solution works across sites but is of course not a proposed permanent solution to this problem.

I could not track down any other errors from my server logs.

I’ve been seeing the same problem across many sites that I manage. I have learned that the error is occurring with google served mail and not with other email servers.

For example, if I submit the contact form from a person with an email [email protected] it works with no error.

if I submit the contact form with [email protected] or even [email protected] then wp_mail cannot properly instantiate. line 135 of wpcf7/includes/mail just fails.

I think that it must be something with the replyto header that is automatically set to the [your-email] who has submitted the form. It is possible that this can cause an error.

I think you could probably use Charter Boat Bookings plugin and The Woocommerce Barcode together to achieve what you are after. The members could have a coupon code which makes fishing free.
