I have no idea but I got it back working. Does it have to do with the Events widget?

I am sure this is a stupid question but I did something with my widgets and now my events are not displaying on the front page. Any way to get them back to the default so they are displayed?

I tried the theme content but that did not get me anywhere. So what am I looking for this code you mentioned above for? To change? It looks like the demo content uses multiple articles in one page. Is that doable?
