I agree. Since choosing “Yes” is what hides the image, I would say change the text to “Hide Featured image?”

Does anyone know if this problem just started after the most recent update? If so, is it possible to roll back without losing all downloads?

How did you remove the calendar? Is the homepage the default frontpage for the theme or did you assign a static page to be the frontpage?
